Wow, those are some awesome names. Tollack is a really cool name. I have never heard it before. I think that [name]Alexander[/name] Tollak or [name]James[/name] Tollak are the best sounding.
I think any name goes with Tollak, especially since Tollak is a sentimental name so I think it comes down to which first name you like the best, rather than which goes with Tollak the best. I happen to prefer [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]James[/name] as first names. I’m generally not a big fan of [name]Adrian[/name] or [name]Tristan[/name] because they do not come across as strong to me.
I think classic is always the way to go when pairing with a more unusual middle. [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]James[/name] are definitely my favorites from your list.
If you have another son called [name]Josiah[/name], I wouldn’t pick [name]James[/name].
[name]Josiah[/name] and [name]Daphne[/name] are both quirky-cool and relatively uncommon. I think they could make [name]Alexander[/name] look a bit plain. I would choose [name]Rhys[/name] Tollak, for sure. [Though I really like [name]Adrian[/name] Tollak even more ([name]Tristan[/name] has the alliteration problem). [name]Adrian[/name] is handsome, distinguished, has a centuries-old tradition as a given name, and is equally uncommon and refined as [name]Josiah[/name] and [name]Daphne[/name]].
[name]James[/name] Tollak- [name]James[/name] is so classic, it always will be. You can’t go wrong with it. Also, it might be nice to include your kids in the naming process so they don’t feel left out. Your son might have a closer connection to [name]James[/name] in that way.
Though I love [name]Rhys[/name], I think it’s probably out as well. We have a short 3-letter surname, so although [name]Rhys[/name] sounds okay with it, it sounds choppier than [name]James[/name] or [name]Alexander[/name]. Plus, as a previous poster mentioned, I like having something slightly more traditional with such a unique middle.
I like [name]James[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name] with it the best. I think the S ending sounds really great leading into Tollak. Though, as [name]Blade[/name] said, [name]James[/name] is very similar to [name]Josiah[/name] so [name]Rhys[/name] definitely seems like the way to go. [name]Rhys[/name] Tollack is an amazing name!
Perhaps another name ending in S such as: [name]Cadmus[/name]/[name]Cassius[/name], [name]Charles[/name], [name]Elias[/name], [name]Francis[/name], [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Miles[/name], [name]Phineas[/name], or [name]Thomas[/name]? Good luck! =]
