First names for middles Renée Elizabeth

Trying to narrow down my list a little bit now that I know that baby is a girl  She’ll have a double middle name, Renée Elizabeth, for her grandmothers, and then her own first name. Renée was my mom’s middle name, and it’s also mine. Elizabeth is my adoptive mom, Mama Beth as I like to call her :joy: I’ve tried all my first name ideas with Elizabeth Renée as well, but I think I like the flow of Renée Elizabeth better with the last name (one syllable and starts with H, if that helps!) Would appreciate any and all feedback as I’d like to narrow it down to at least 3-4 options, if not all the way down to 1 by the time she arrives  Thanks!

Congratulations! From your list, I think [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Lylah[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] flow the best!

Congratulations! [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is such a gorgeous combo! From your list my favorites would be [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Leila[/name_f], [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u]! They all flow so effortlessly with the middle names you’ve selected and would compliment it beautifully!

You have a lovely list!!

[name_f]My[/name_f] top four:

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Bowie[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] would have my vote :two_hearts:

You have lots of really nice choices on your list and both [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] are great. I always put more importance on how the first with the last names flow as that is how everyone is known, so my favourites are…

[name_f]Lylah[/name_f] H___ (although I prefer the sleeker [name_f]Lila[/name_f] or Lilah)
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] H___
[name_u]Ever[/name_u] H___
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] H___
[name_f]Zoie[/name_f] H___ (prefer the [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] spelling)

I like double middles especially when they are honoring although I initially felt I would prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] to [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] in most combos(?) But, the last name might change that and seems like the latter feels better to you.

So I think my top picks would be:

  1. [name_u]Remi[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - I like the alliteration of [name_u]Remi[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]! And [name_u]Remi[/name_u] is such a cute name. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite combo for sure.
  2. [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - There’s just something so sweet and “vintage” feeling about this one for me. Like drinking apple cider at a fall picnic on a pretty floral quilt.
  3. [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - Not usually wild about [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] but this just struck me because the middles are such a gentle contrast to its fire & strength.
  4. [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - Although I like [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] better on its own, this order is nice as well; I like the interest of the more fresh & unusual [name_u]Salem[/name_u] together with the two classics.

[name_u]Love[/name_u], but not with [name_f]Renee[/name_f]: [name_u]Bowie[/name_u], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] & [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]
Like, but sound dated to me in this particular combo: [name_f]Melody[/name_f], [name_f]Oceana[/name_f], [name_f]Serenity[/name_f], [name_f]Leila[/name_f] & [name_f]Zoie[/name_f]

Ones I personally would cross off:
[name_u]Ever[/name_u] & [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] because the “r” ending when [name_f]Renee[/name_f] is in the middle is a tad clunky
[name_f]Lylah[/name_f] & [name_u]Lyric[/name_u] because the flow is just off for me
[name_u]Willow[/name_u] because I like something less common/popular to contrast with [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

I’d reduce your list to [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_u]Sunny[/name_u], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Bowie[/name_u]. They’re all lovely, fresh names but with the middle names, I think I like either [name_f]Iris[/name_f] or [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] most.

Congratulations! Here are my favourites ~
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - sounds amazing
[name_u]Remi[/name_u] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - lovely balance of modern and classic in the name as a whole
[name_f]Oceana[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - stunning first name for her and it flows well with the middles
[name_u]Stevie[/name_u] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - super cool!
And [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - full of joy!

[name_f]My[/name_f] recommendations are [name_u]Ever[/name_u], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u]

[name_f]My[/name_f] top 5 favorites are:

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Lylah[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Stevie[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

Narrowed down Top 4 in the order I think works best:

[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
[name_u]Bowie[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] top 3:

[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Serenity[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoie[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

A close runner up (or 4th option for me) wouldve been: [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

[name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], so pretty!
[name_f]My[/name_f] top 5 names from your list are:

  1. [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]
  2. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
  3. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
  4. [name_f]Lylah[/name_f]
  5. [name_f]Zoie[/name_f]

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I love the idea of two middle names to honor both grandmas.

Here are my thoughts on your list-

Autumn-Autumn [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] sounds great. I’m not personally a huge fan of [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], but I can’t pinpoint why. Maybe it’s because I’m a warm weather person! It’s still a perfectly nice name though. Smart & calm & easy to say & spell but not terribly over done. Feminine w/out being frilly as well.

Bowie-I don’t know that I care for this one. I like [name_u]David[/name_u] [name_u]Bowie[/name_u] a lot as a musician. This name is very associated w/him though, even though it’s not a bad association. And it just seems a little cutesy & not quite a solid name. I wonder if it could be a nn for something?

Ever-This is kind of neat. It’s a bit wordy for my tastes; maybe I’m just not used to hearing it as a name. But it’s not unpleasant. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] doesn’t flow perfectly because of the 'r’s running into each other, but it’s not awful. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] & [name_u]Everly[/name_u] are so darn popular though, that I’d be afraid an [name_u]Ever[/name_u] would get lost in the sea of Evies. This is only a concern if popularity bothers you.

Iris-Ooh, I want so badly to like this name. It’s floral & vintage & simple & soft but still has just the right amount of spunk. I just don’t like the sound. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], again, isn’t perfect, but not horrible at all either.

Ivy-Maybe I just don’t like the long ‘i’ sound, but do prefer this to [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. It’s a little sassier, which I like about it. A bit popular, but not awful. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] sound really good.

Juniper-This is neat. It’s kind of quirky but has smart elegance at the same time. And I adore the nns [name_f]Junie[/name_f] & [name_f]Juno[/name_f]. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a bit ‘r’ heavy, but completely fine. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is also getting oddly popular. I know bunch of little Junipers & Junos if you can believe it.

Leila-This is perfectly nice, but just seems a bit done & not that special. It has a pretty sound though, & [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] works.

Lylah-I love the sound of this one, but definitely prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] even [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is fine. The ‘y’ makes it look off to me. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] sounds gorgeous.

Lyric-This is kind of like [name_u]Ever[/name_u]. It’s a pretty sounding word, but I’m just not used to it as a name so I don’t love it. [name_u]Lyric[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] isn’t perfect but totally fine.

Melody-This is cute. It feels more natural as a name to me, but gives the sweet happy musical vibe. [name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] sounds prefect.

Oceana-This is a really cool one. Not sure I love the sound, but I do love the imagery & the uniqueness. It flows good enough w/the mns.

Phoenix-I think I’d like this as a mn for a girl, but it just doesn’t sound that pretty as a first. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it is very bada**. Maybe a bit too much!

Remi-Meh, not my cup of tea. I know a little girl [name_u]Remi[/name_u], but I think that [name_u]Remy[/name_u] is so handsome for a boy that this one isn’t my favorite for girls.

Salem-I don’t know. I don’t think that the sound is that pleasant nor the association w/witch trials. I like it for the black cat in [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] the Teenage Witch! But not as much for a sweet little girl.

Serenity-Love the vibe, but it’s a bit wordy for my tastes. Maybe [name_f]Serena[/name_f] would flow better.

Stevie-I find this pretty cute as a nn. [name_f]Stefania[/name_f] nn [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] would be my preference. Feels a bit lacking on its own.

Sunny-I think that this is maybe better as a nn too, but it’s soooo cute. What do you think of [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]?

Willow-I like the sound & the imagery of this a lot, but I think the trendy-ness turns me off a tad. [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is kind of a tongue twister, but not bad.

Zoie-This is really popular too, even though it’s a fun name. I would definitely spell it [name_u]Zoe[/name_u]. That looks much sleeker to me.

Well, I hope my rambling helps a bit!

[name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lylah[/name_f] are my favourites.
Congratulations!

Congratulations!

Firstly love the middle names and it’s lovely that your honouring such special people. I also agree that [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] has a great flow.

You have some fabulous choices and my favourites are

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ~ with this one though I think the ‘y’ and the ‘ee’ sound run into each other so I would have [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] absolute favourite from this shortlist is [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] :rainbow::white_heart:

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a lovely vibrant name that feels happy and sweet with a nice vintage flair. She has the wonderful meaning ‘rainbow’ which I think is a nice symbol for a baby born nearing to the end of a pandemic what with rainbows meaning a symbol of hope and promise of better things to come. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] sounds lovely with your preferred middle name flow but I also think a short sweet name would work wonderfully for you! After [name_f]Iris[/name_f] my second favourite would be [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] as I’ve always had a soft spot for [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] also she’s stunning with [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

Good luck :four_leaf_clover:

I like [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Renée[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Is she due in the fall?
