I am only a teenager and nowhere near planning to have kids but I was wondering what ideas people have for first names for these middle names. Each one has a special meaning to me.
Pieternella(pronounced [name_m]Peter[/name_m]-[name_f]Nella[/name_f]): it’s a Dutch name and is a family name. It’s my middle name as well as my mums, grandmothers and great-grandmothers.
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]: this is my current best friends name. Although we mightn’t stay in contact after high school I think it’s a nice idea.
[name_f]Trixie[/name_f]: this was the first name of a family friend’s daughter who died when she was 4 months old.
Jacobus (pronounced [name_m]Jac[/name_m]-Ko-Bus): Again this name is Dutch and was my Dads Dads name. It is also my brothers middle name. He died when shortly after my parents were married. It translates to [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m] or [name_m]Jacob[/name_m].
[name_m]Anthony[/name_m]: this is my dad’s middle name and my Uncles middle name who died when he was a baby.
[name_u]Jan[/name_u] (pronounced Yun, which is said as it is spelt): once again this name is Dutch and is my Grandfather’s first name. His English name is [name_m]John[/name_m].
