[name_m]How[/name_m] do you feel about first names & surnames ending the same way?
Examples:
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] Rivera
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_m]Miller[/name_m]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Jones[/name_m]
Honestly, I love it!
As an example, I have a friend named K@t3lyn G…lin (2 syllable fn & 3 syllable ln). [name_f]Imo[/name_f], names like this are cool and distinctive, and make me question why there is such an aversion to it by some namenerds.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] Rivera is awesome, btw 
As long as it’s not like [name_m]Bob[/name_m] Clob or [name_f]Millie[/name_f] Filly then I like it. Otherwise I find them too cartoony.
I would avoid it personally if I was naming a child, but it doesn’t necessarily bother me. However, I’m a giant hypocrite because my first name is [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and my surname ends in a “lee” sound - and I legally changed it to that myself (it’s my mother’s surname) :’)
It bothers me, most of the time. It almost always sounds like a cartoon or comic book character and just sounds odd to the ear. I avoid names that share the ending of my surname at all costs (sadly…it rules out tons of good names!).
It’s interesting to read everyone’s opinions.
