First or second name to Anku

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!

What do you guys think of the name Anku? It’s a Hebrew girl name, but what does it sound like to you? If you did not know it’s orgin, where would you think it is from/the person carrying the name is from?

Also, what would work as first or second name to Anku?

So far I have thought of:
Anku [name_f]Elize[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] Anku

I like hebrew, slavic and hispanic uncommon names, but they are not a requirement. Any thoughts?

Anku is sweet and very funky, I like it! Never heard it before, very interesting

I’d probably assume Egyptian or Turkish — not entirely sure why, possibly because of the similarity to “ankh”?

I really like Anku [name_f]Elize[/name_f]. A few other ideas:

Anku [name_f]Rivka[/name_f]
Anku [name_f]Eszter[/name_f]
Anku [name_f]Eliska[/name_f]
Anku [name_f]Olena[/name_f]

[name_f]Leonie[/name_f] Anku
[name_f]Tatia[/name_f] Anku
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] Anku
Isola Anku

I’d also assume Egyptian or Turkish, because of the ankh connection and because it’s similar to my Turkish boyfriend’s aunt’s name. I really like it! I think it’s pretty, spunky, and phonetic enough not to be an issue despite its lack of familiarity.

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] Anku
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Anku
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] Anku

I think pairing it with a name that doesn’t start or end with a strong vowel sound is a good idea given that Anku starts and ends with strong vowels. Anku [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and Anku [name_f]Selene[/name_f] are my favourites!

I really love the name Anku! It has such a beautiful sound and feels both graceful and strong, especially since it means “GRACE” in Hebrew. I did a little digging, and in [name_f]Lakota[/name_f], Anku means “WARRIOR,” while in Aymara, it refers to a woman who, despite being part of the community, has her own unique perspectives and beliefs. It just feels so connected to nature, leadership and community—I’m all for it!

I’ve been considering this name for years after meeting a little girl while traveling abroad with the same name; her mom was Native American, and I just fell in love with its beauty and deep meanings.

I have some more pairings:
Anku [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
Anku [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
Anku [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]

I’m not sure what nationality I’d assume for Anku. Maybe Egyptian or [name_f]Indian[/name_f]?

It’s easy to spell and say. I think it works well.
