I’m expecting a baby girl soon and considering the name [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] for her, I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] but my only concern is that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a very popular middle name and I’m a little concerned about her having the name middle name as multiple other girls potentially. What do you think of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s too plain? Or should I just go with it anyways?
A lot of people with American accents say it’s too much together, but I’m [name_f]English[/name_f] and don’t have a problem saying it, so it’s not really an issue. I like [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and I have looked at [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], I’ve even considered [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] as a combo, and I’ve thought about [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] as sisters to [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Zara[/name_f] too but I think that ones a little bit more popular over here. [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is nice but wayyy to popular it’s top 10.
Both are beautiful names but I do find that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is an extremely overused middle name. I know so many people, adults and children, who have it as their middle name. I personally wouldn’t use it in the middle position for that reason but if you love it then you should go for it. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] would be absolutely beautiful though if that’s an option?
This is to funny, I just made a post about a middle name for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] like 30 min ago.
My favorite name is [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], my fav middle name is [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and ughhhh it makes me so sad that they sound so clunky together
I was looking on insta and there are 3k #aurorarose
I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] so much that I think maybeeee I could deal, overlook it. But I’d feel like others would think it’s clumsy.
I dont think it’s plain at all, it’s gorgeous but hard to say. Kids have a hard time with Rs…uh woah wah wose might be a lot. Total mouthful
I’ve been thinking of [name_u]Skye[/name_u]/Sky. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u]
Do you like any other names?
Aurora [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] come to mind.
I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] because of the sleeping beauty association, that was my favourite movie as a child and it brings back such happy memories for me, I think that’s why I’m slightly attached to [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and I love the flower☺️.
@Islaadams me too it’s just so magical. Princessy. It reminds me of the movie totally. I also went to iceland and saw the northern lights/aurora borealis so now it reminds me of that also. And roses are my fav. I’m right there with ya. I think if you love it, use it. How often do we really say our full names anyway. I’m still totally considering it.
It’s lovely.
Saying it outloud in pretend conversations helps also “[name_f]My[/name_f] daughter [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] was born yesterday…” and see how it feels for you.
Aurora is a beautiful name. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is very popular as a middle, but I do understand that, and it’s very pretty. [name_f]My[/name_f] real concern with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is how it sounds out loud - unfortunately, the R sounds run together, and it’s a bit of a tongue twister. However, there are lots of beautiful -[name_f]Rose[/name_f] names that avoid that (and add a little bit more distinctiveness to her middle)!

Welcome @Islaadams, and congratulations on your baby girl!
Aurora is a lovely name, and I’m really loving the suggestions of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Wildrose (brave but beautiful! ) for you. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a lovely middle name, but it is extremely popular as a middle here in the UK, and from your question it sounds like that would bother you a bit.
I think [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (pairing a very unusual first name with the more popular middle name) would be stunning names for potential future sisters. Both beautiful, princessy first names with floral middles.
I agree with others about the R sounds. Maybe you would like:

Aurora and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] feel too connected as both [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are names for the protagonist in Sleeping Beauty.
I thought about the sleeping beauty connection too ([name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]) and thought it was kind of awesome!
Anyway I like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] a lot and don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a somewhat popular middle name. I don’t think the combination is plain at all and you should go with what you love.
I don’t think having a common middle name is a big deal. Growing up, I really didn’t know people’s middle names often… [name_m]Just[/name_m] my closest friends. And I think I would’ve felt a fun bond with my friend if we had the same middle name!
Rose is a very common middle name, but it’s pretty and classic.
