[name]Mason[/name] - one of the hottest names on the country right now. I guess it’s okay, it just seems overdone to me. I guess it has the appealing sound of [name]Jason[/name], [name]Grayson[/name], etc., but still a bit distinctive of its own. I used to really love it when I first heard it, though.
[name]Finn[/name]/[name]Finley[/name] - I quite love [name]Finley[/name], actually.
I love that it means “fair-haired warrior”. My brother’s fair-haired, and he’s in the [name]Air[/name] Force… so it is quite meaningful to me, haha. I’d use it for him. I do like other [name]Finn[/name] names more, though (particularly [name]Flynn[/name], [name]Finnegan[/name], and [name]Phineas[/name]).
[name]James[/name] - a timeless classic. You can’t go wrong with [name]James[/name], even though it’s not a personal favorite. I do respect those who do use it, though!
[name]Palin[/name] - I think this would be quite risky, with [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Palin[/name] and all. I like [name]Peyton[/name] much more on a boy.
[name]Noah[/name] - love it.
It’s long been a favorite of mine. Due to its popularity, I’m starting to prefer it as a MN, but I really do adore it, and would love to use it one day.
[name]Jacob[/name] - I’ve been scared off by its popularity, and the nn of [name]Jake[/name] (which I really can’t stand!) but I love hearing [name]Jacob[/name] and I imagine just the most gentlemanly, artistic guy with the name. Probably because of a character I created for a novel once.
[name]Bennett[/name] - I like it a lot, but I prefer [name]Beckett[/name] and [name]Benedict[/name], personally.
[name]Arthur[/name] - I respect it, but I don’t love it. I’m not sure I’d ever use it… if I did, I’d use it as a MN.
[name]Henley[/name] - It’s intriguing, but sorry, all I can think of is 1, hens, and 2, the band [name]Hedley[/name]. I don’t think I could use it, sorry.
[name]Oliver[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] it! If [name]Olivia[/name] wasn’t on my top 3 for girls, I would seriously consider [name]Oliver[/name]. I love it a lot. I also love [name]Oscar[/name], probably even more than [name]Oliver[/name], and I think [name]Oscar[/name]'s a bit more distinctive. Then again, it has more off-putting associations ([name]Oscar[/name] [name]Meyer[/name] wieners, [name]Oscar[/name] the Grouch, etc.)–but then again, it has great namesakes imo, too ([name]Oscar[/name] Wilde; [name]Oskar[/name] Schindler).
[name]Jonah[/name] - I like it a lot, but I’d probably use [name]Jonas[/name] first.
I looove [name]Jonas[/name]!
[name]Jonah[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], and [name]Noah[/name] are my favorites! I think [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Noah[/name] [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Jonah[/name]/[name]Jonah[/name] [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Noah[/name] [name]Bennett[/name], and [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Bennett[/name] would all be great.
Good luck!
