I’m 7 weeks pregnant and looking for some suggestions on both girl and boy names. I currently have a 6yr old son named
[name]Kaden[/name] [name]Alexzander[/name]. Our last name is 2 syllables ending in Y.
I would prefer that none of the names have a J in them. ([name]Ive[/name] had nothing but bad luck with J names).
As of right now the only names we are even seriously considering are:
I really like Parker, especially with Kaden. I like Parker Ryan, Parker Gabriel and Parker Emmett for middle names.
Other suggestions for first names:
Cooper
Wyatt
Austin
Nolan
Tristan
Kai
Sawyer
Ryder
Brody
Landon
Xavier
Easton
Maddox
Max
Hudson
Owen
Pax
Caleb/Kaleb
For girls, I like Peyton better than Payson, mostly because Payson ends in “son” and she won’t be. Peyton Emma, Peyton Olivia, Peyton Claire and Peyton Brooke are just some middle names that work well.
Other suggestions for girls:
Aubrey
Audrey
Harper
Teagan
Leighton
Hadley
Rowan
Grier
Adalyn
Layla
Arden
Makenna
Delaney
Morgan
Scarlett
Casey/Kasey
Tatum
Quinn
Harlow
Marlowe
Reese
[name]Parker[/name] is pretty cool for a brother for [name]Kaden[/name]. I like how they have a surnamey feel to tie them together and the letter K, but [name]Parker[/name] is a little more conventional/grounded to tie them together. I think you might be done there!
I agree with pp, [name]Peyton[/name] is far preferable to Peyson. Peyson makes me think of poisson, the French word for fish. However, [name]Peyton[/name] and [name]Kaden[/name] are really rhymey. It’s really almost the same name with a different first sound. PP gave you some great other suggestions. [name]Paisley[/name] strikes me as another one you might like.
Great point about Peyson, so that’s off the table. I really like [name]Peyton[/name] but Jesba is right about them being almost the same name. I would like to stay away from rhymey names. Not too sure how I feel about [name]Paisley[/name], I might just have to try it out for a few days.
[name]Parker[/name] is definitely a winner! I also liked how they tie together with the letter K. Now I just need to settle on a middle name.
Still looking for suggestions on girls names so keep them coming and thank you so much for your input!
