[name]Hi[/name], [name]Rachael[/name], and congratulations on your first post.
[name]Sawyer[/name]: I think this sounds cool with a Mc last name, but be aware that girls use this name, too. (It may not bother you, but I thought I’d mention it…)
[name]Shepherd[/name]: I really like this with a Mc last name, too. So far, I’m voting for this…
[name]Owen[/name]: I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Owen[/name], but it’s seriously popular now, which may or may not bother you.
[name]Oliver[/name]: Like [name]Owen[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] is quite popular now, too. (Type in a name to the left to see its popularity ranking.) [name]Oliver[/name] is one of my all-time favorites.
[name]Reed[/name]/[name]Reid[/name]: I think [name]Reed[/name] is cool, and I personally prefer the [name]Reed[/name] spelling, because I can totally see [name]Reid[/name] being mispronounced as Ride.
[name]Boston[/name]: I love [name]Boston[/name], MA, but I’m not a fan of [name]Boston[/name] as a first name.
I vote for [name]Oliver[/name], and of the surnames, I’m going to go with [name]Shepherd[/name].
[name]Shepherd[/name]: Oh, the nickname [name]Shep[/name] is so cool and dashing! I imagine that he might want to go simply by this nn, even introducing himself by it. If you can embrace [name]Shep[/name] as well as [name]Shepherd[/name], then I think it’s a great choice.
[name]Owen[/name]: I really like this name, and if you love it then I say don’t have any hesitations about the popularity.
[name]Oliver[/name]: I’m not feeling this English name with your Irish surname.
[name]Reed[/name]/[name]Reid[/name]: Out of all your choices, this has the least personality.
[name]Boston[/name]: I’m sorry, but there is only room for one [name]Boston[/name]–the city. Plus, the nickname [name]Boss[/name] might overinflate his ego.
I love [name]Shepard[/name] and [name]Reed[/name].
[name]Reed[/name] has many nn such as reeders Bureedo and ree ree
and my crush in middle schools name is [name]Shepard[/name].
these both work with mc names good luck
Thanks so much! It’s nice to get some feedback from people that don’t know you, that way they are completely honest! I think we are down to [name]Sawyer[/name] and [name]Shepherd[/name]…with [name]Owen[/name] (since it was my maiden name) on the side…
I’m going to vote for [name]Owen[/name] [name]Michael[/name]. There’s something “off” for me about the flow of [name]Sawyer[/name] [name]Anthony[/name], and I personally prefer [name]Owen[/name].
Unfortunately I know too many girl Sawyers and not enough boy Sawyers. If, however, in your area [name]Sawyer[/name] is a primarily a boy name, go for it. It’s cute and for some reason when I think [name]Sawyer[/name] as a boy’s name, I see a cute little boy in a sailor’s outfit. [name]Don[/name]'t ask me why!!! And [name]Owen[/name] is just adorable. I have been especially loving that name lately (maybe because I may very well have a nephew with that name someday??)
