Fisher for a baby boy

What do you think of the name [name_m]Fisher[/name_m]? His full name would be [name_m]Fisher[/name_m] [name_m]Ward[/name_m]. I also like the alternate spelling, [name_m]Fischer[/name_m]. Does it have a good sound to it?

Other names I’ve considered are:

[name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_m]Ward[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Ward[/name_m]

I like [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Ward[/name_m]. But my husband doesn’t.
He likes [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]Ward[/name_m], I think I like [name_m]Fisher[/name_m] better.
We both like [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Ward[/name_m]. Unfortunately [name_u]Porter[/name_u] is a close family friend name. The middle name of grandpa & grandson. I don’t want to steal their name.

Weigh in on your fav! Thanks.
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f] & [name_m]Wayne[/name_m]

I like [name_u]Porter[/name_u], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. I dont like [name_m]Fisher[/name_m] it sounds like … well… a fisherman. [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] is a word to me.

I love fisher! It sounds great with ward. I also like [name_u]Owen[/name_u] too! I do like [name_u]Finn[/name_u], but maybe not with ward… since they are both one syllable…but that’s not the end of the world! I also prefer fisher without the “c” keep it simple

I think [name_m]Fisher[/name_m] is fine, but paired with [name_m]Ward[/name_m] I think of fishing and game wardens.

[name_m]Fisher[/name_m] is a fine name!
