Here’s a new game where one person takes a celebrity’s baby name and the next person has to make it more normal/acceptable/easy to say but keep the same theme or meaning.
For example, if someone picked [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Marcheline[/name], then the person ‘fixing’ it would have to pick something french and/or with a V, Z or X (because we know how the [name]Jolie[/name]-Pitts love those letters). The same would apply if they had named their child after a TV character, place, flower etc and you have to stick to their theme.
So I’ll start by putting [name]BANDIT[/name] [name]LEE[/name] [name]WAY[/name] (Girl) on the table.
Fix that.
Fixed Name: [name]BRIDGET[/name] [name]LEILA[/name] [name]WAVERLY[/name], I chose that because the names start with the same letters and are pretty close in sound. Next name to fix:
Zuma [name]Nesta[/name] [name]Rock[/name] (Looks like a girls name doesnt it?)
I looked up what the Zuma and [name]Nesta[/name] are about (a place name and [name]Bob[/name] [name]Marley[/name]'s MN) and came up with…
[name]London[/name] (where [name]Gavin[/name] Rossdale is from) [name]Rocco[/name] [name]Marley[/name].
[name]LONDON[/name] [name]ROCCO[/name] [name]MARLEY[/name]
[name]Sterling[/name] - Because it stays with the letter S and it isnt really a common first name
[name]Justin[/name] - Because it is still a normal name and starts with a J
[name]Mitchell[/name] - Because it starts with an M and it is normal. Unlike [name]Midnight[/name].
[name]Teagan[/name] : for it’s meaning, little poet, which connects both to the original name and to the fact that her father is a songwriter (among other things); also for its Irish roots which match the roots of her father
[name]Beatrix[/name] : obviously, taking a fuller version of nicknamey name [name]Trixie[/name]
[name]Jonas[/name] as the [name]Bronx[/name] was named for [name]Jonas[/name] Bronk, and Kipling for [name]Rudyard[/name] Kipling author of The Jungle Book.
Okay, so to fix [name]Huckleberry[/name] [name]Edward[/name] [name]Jocelyne[/name], I would go with…
[name]Finn[/name] [name]Edward[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]. [name]Finn[/name] because it’s [name]Huckleberry[/name] [name]Finn[/name]'s ln, [name]Edward[/name] because there’s nothing really wrong with [name]Edward[/name], and [name]Joseph[/name] in place of [name]Jocelyne[/name].
Next name: [name]MOXIE[/name] CRIMEFIGHTER. Enjoy
[name]Roxie[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] ([name]Roxie[/name] rhymes with [name]Moxie[/name] & [name]Alexandra[/name] means “defender of mankind” which is sort of close to being a crimefighter.)
Hmmmm… [name]Parker[/name] - another occupational name starting with P & to fix Inspektor… Iacchus meaning ‘to shout’ because you might shout whilst inspecting something… maybe.
It’s his daughter. And I don’t know if you can fix that… but I’ll try.
For [name]Bandit[/name]… [name]Bathsheba[/name] because bandits are bad and [name]Bathsheba[/name] was on NB’s ‘Bad Girls’ list. And for [name]Lee[/name], [name]Kit[/name], another one syllable, unisex, English name.
So [name]Bathsheba[/name] [name]Kit[/name] [name]Way[/name].
Next name: [name]Jessie[/name] [name]James[/name] (P Diddy’s daughter)
