[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! I haven’t been active for a while, but I’m back with a new idea! Unisex names are super trendy right now, so let’s create some more! What do you think of the names [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m], [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u], and [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], (originally boys names), for a baby girl? Positive suggestions and all ideas welcome!
I’ve heard of girls called [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u], so that feels unisex to me.
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] feels masculine to me as a first name, but there’s a female singer who goes by [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] as a stage name so I think that could be used on a girl.
[name_u]Tyler[/name_u] feels completely masculine to me.
[name_u]Tyler[/name_u] is the most unisex to me, [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] I can kind of see, mostly cause it’s an occupational name. [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] feels very masculine to me, too many male associations for me
I can sort of see [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] for a girl. It rhymes with [name_u]Skylar[/name_u].
I know a girl named Tyler! I like this name on girls!
[name_u]Tyler[/name_u]: maybe could be a girl’s name, but I am almost always going to associate this name with boys
[name_u]Lincoln[/name_u]: could be a cute girl’s name, but I still prefer it for a boy
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]: I don’t love this name for a person. It is a good dog name. Boy dog.
I love unisex names for girls. These are neutral for sure in my opinion. I would assume boy but I’d be excited to hear them on a girl.
I immediately think of [name_f]Kristen[/name_f] [name_u]Bell[/name_u] and [name_m]Dax[/name_m] Shepherd’s daughter [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u].
And [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] Judd’s middle name is [name_u]Tyler[/name_u]. So those feel very wearable on a girl.
