Flo?

I’m crushing on [name_f]Flo[/name_f] these days, it’s such a pretty name that is both sweet and sharp, and it sounds great with our surname, too. My only concern is that it might be too close to [name_u]Lou[/name_u]. What would you say? [name_m]How[/name_m] does it sit next to our children’s names?

Please don’t suggest any longer names - I don’t think [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is for us as a first name and I hate [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]!

[name_f]Flo[/name_f] is such a cute and spunky name, it fits perfectly with your other two! While it is similar to [name_u]Lou[/name_u], I don’t think it’s too close that you can’t use it.

[name_f]Flo[/name_f] is cute!! I think it is differnt enough from [name_u]Lou[/name_u] -the O sound is distinctive and i can picture them as sisters.

I like [name_f]Flo[/name_f] too! I don’t think it’s too close to [name_u]Lou[/name_u], they have such different sounds.

If it were me, I’d use [name_f]Flora[/name_f] nn [name_f]Flo[/name_f], but for you, I like just [name_f]Flo[/name_f] with [name_u]Jem[/name_u] & [name_u]Lou[/name_u]! All three letters, 1 syllable.

I like [name_f]Flo[/name_f] and don’t think it’s too close to [name_u]Lou[/name_u].

Thank you all! Anybody else?

I think [name_f]Flo[/name_f] fits great with [name_u]Jem[/name_u] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u]! It definitely isn’t too close in my opinion - they have different O sounds!

I really like [name_f]Flo[/name_f] with [name_u]Jem[/name_u] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u].

[name_f]Flo[/name_f] is not for me. It makes me think of the “Aunt [name_f]Flo/name_f” euphemism people use for their periods.

Oh wow pp, I forgot about Aunt [name_f]Flo[/name_f]!

I now dislike it more. [name_f]Flo[/name_f] sounds loud and harsh to me, unfortunately.
