[name_m]Orlo[/name_m] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] are very similar–tongue twister.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is my favorite–nicknames may give it more image versatility. Though I don’t see it as too hippie.

I know they are a bit similar but I like the sound of [name_f]Flora[/name_f] best. [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] are adorable [name_f]IMO[/name_f]!

I was going to vote [name_f]Flora[/name_f] until I saw brother’s name. I think they are too close. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] are great together.

I don’t think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is too hippie at all, honestly. It’s a more recognized / accepted tree name in general, and sounds very much like a name. So it’s very wearable. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it with [name_m]Orlo[/name_m].

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] are matchy, which is fine unless you plan to have more children in the future. Should you have more children in the future, there may be pressure to find a third matchy name or any new non-matchy names may look out of place in the sibset.
[name_f]Virginia[/name_f] has too high a teasing potential.
So I voted [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] as it was the only option left. It is a beautiful name though

I’d voted for [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], but then again i’m totally biased- we have a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and we’re expecting an [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]. So [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] sounds pretty awesome to me!

[name_m]Orlo[/name_m] is very spunky-unique so I would choose…

1 [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - matches [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] in the spunk department
2 [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] - a vintage gem. [name_f]Remember[/name_f] the name came before the place.
3 [name_f]Flora[/name_f] - a little too similar in sound to [name_m]Orlo[/name_m]. Have you considered [name_f]Freya[/name_f]?

Although I love [name_f]Flora[/name_f], I think it’s too close to [name_m]Orlo[/name_m]. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is sweet, spunky and a perfect fit with [name_m]Orlo[/name_m].

I agree with the majority. If I were at a park and had to shout “[name_m]Orlo[/name_m]! [name_f]Flora[/name_f]! Time to go.” That would be too much of a tongue twister for me. [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is nice but it seems very different from [name_m]Orlo[/name_m]. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is my favorite and I agree they match in spunk.

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] are fabulous. I adore [name_f]Flora[/name_f] but agree that they sound quite similar. [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is just not my style and somehow doesn’t suit [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] (in my opinion). [name_m]Both[/name_m] [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] are very special since they’re unusual but the good kind.

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] is, well, floral. Feminine and strong. Classic with a a lovely sound. Personally, I love the nicknames ([name_f]Flossie[/name_f], [name_f]Florrie[/name_f], [name_f]Flory[/name_f]).

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is interesting, plus I love the name [name_u]June[/name_u] and like [name_f]Junia[/name_f].

[name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is exquisite and who cares about people searching for virgins and vaginas in names. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_u]Leslie[/name_u], a supposedly tease-free name, and yet some little twerps in grade school taunted me with “Lesbo!” Now admittedly, I had no idea what the word meant, but I could tell it was not used as a compliment, so I froze them with my stare. That was all it took; no name is creep-proof.

don’t really like any, sorry but if I had to choose I would pick [name_f]Flora[/name_f]. for state names i love [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. for floral i love [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] for others, [name_f]Camilla[/name_f].

We must be living parallel lives. [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to hear you had a good experience naming your daughter [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. I love the name [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] too. We went with [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] because it had a connection to my hometown.

Thanks for your feedback everyone! You helped me win over my husband to the name [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. Of course, the due date is still a few months away, so who knows if we’ll flip flop. So hard to make this decision.

[name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] are equally wonderful names, but something like Hebrew pairing [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] {and} [name_u]Avi[/name_u] would be better suited. In this example, we have two vowel names reminiscent of familiar names that are currently stylish {[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f]}.

I’m not a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] fan. It just never impressed me. On a boy, I’d like it but on a girl it’s nothing special.

[name_m]Orlo[/name_m] & [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] make a lovely pair. It has plenty of nn potentials: [name_f]Nia[/name_f], [name_f]Jenna[/name_f], [name_f]Jenny[/name_f]/[name_f]Ginny[/name_f], [name_f]Ginger[/name_f], [name_f]Vi[/name_f], [name_f]Vira[/name_f]/[name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Gia[/name_f], etc. And as far as a negative nn, did you consider JuNIPer? Teenage boys will definitely pick up on it. Any name is tease-worthy so that shouldn’t even be a reason to cross it off your list

I voted for [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] because [name_f]Flora[/name_f] does sound too close to [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] and [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is a little too long. Some other possibilities:

[name_m]Orlo[/name_m] and

Instead of [name_f]Flora[/name_f]: [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_u]Felice[/name_u], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_u]Rene[/name_u], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Maud[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Thalia[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f]
Instead of [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]: [name_f]Viveca[/name_f], [name_f]Vita[/name_f], [name_u]Vida[/name_u], [name_f]Veda[/name_f], [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Muriel[/name_f], [name_f]Avis[/name_f], [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Verity[/name_f]
Instead of [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]: [name_f]Junia[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_u]Jean[/name_u], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f], [name_f]Thais[/name_f], [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Marina[/name_f], [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]

I voted for [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. I love how it sounds with [name_m]Orlo[/name_m]. [name_f]Flora[/name_f] was a second until I saw brothers name, as well. They’re too close together for my liking. Not a big fan of [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], but I do know of a [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] with the nn [name_f]Ginny[/name_f]. I don’t think that’s too bad.

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] is too similar to [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] vote is for [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] Great name!

Would you use nn [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] fjr [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]? I love [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] & [name_f]Ginger[/name_f]! [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] & [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] work really well together too [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I think [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] & [name_f]Flora[/name_f] don’t work but [name_m]Orlo[/name_m] & [name_f]Florence[/name_f] could!
