Florence Eilir

I think I have found the name for my soon to born daughter. What do you think?
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] is a for sure for the FN, as it is a family name I’m going with. [name_f]My[/name_f] last name is one syllable and starts with B. The MN Eilir pronounced [name_m]Ah[/name_m] Leer or E leer I came across and feel like fits well. However, I’m not dead set on it. Any suggestions/ comments would help! thanks : )

[name_f]Florence[/name_f] Eilir is quite pretty. It feels very British Isles in that [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is one of those “proper English names” to me and Eilir seems very Irish. Eilir may cause pronunciation issues, but as a middle it’s not really a problem. [name_f]Florence[/name_f] Nightingale and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_m]Welch[/name_m] (though I don’t listen to her music) are great references.

[name_f]Florence[/name_f] is really lovely, but Elir doesn’t have a pleasant sound to me (reminds me of leering at someone). What drew you to Elir? Does it have a special meaning or do you like the sound?
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] would be very pretty.

A very lovely combo, imo.
