My husband and I just learned we are expecting a surprise baby! Surprise indeed after two years of infertility before welcoming our beautiful 18 month old twin girls, [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Rose[/name] & [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Camille[/name]. Intuition is telling me this is another sweet flower baby (i.e. GIRL), but if it is a boy we are pretty set on the name [name]Field[/name] [name]Thomason[/name] (both family names and, also, nature inspired to go with my flower babies). I need help with another beautiful flower name for a girl!! A little sister to [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Rose[/name] & [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Camille[/name].
Favorites include:
[name]Lilac[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name] (perhaps with the nn: Lilabelle)
[name]Violette[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Lilly[/name] [name]Louise[/name] or [name]Lilly[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name] ([name]Lilly[/name] is a family name and I love it, but am very fearful of it being too used now)
[name]Lavender[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Louise[/name] ([name]Louise[/name] is a family name of significance that would be nice to use, but not a must)
[name]Iris[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
also love the names Verlaine and [name]Delphine[/name]…
My favourites from your list are [name]Lilly[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name], [name]Violet[/name] [name]Joy[/name] and [name]Lilac[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name]. I think they are gorgeous!
I also love [name]Delphine[/name], but seeing as you already have a daughter called [name]Daphne[/name], I think it will be too close. But, still a gorgeous name.
Some other combinations with flower names and middle names you have in you list are:
○[name]Jasmine[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
○[name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
○Verlaine [name]Mirabelle[/name]
○[name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name]
○[name]Flora[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
○[name]Flora[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
○[name]Acacia[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (I know, [name]Acacia[/name] is a tree, but it but it flowers and the tree symbolizes immortality of the soul, innocence and purity and birth into a new life, which I thought was cool, so maybe an option?)
○[name]Briony[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
○[name]Briony[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
I love [name]Lilac[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name]. I like [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Iris[/name] too, but each would work as well with [name]Louise[/name] or [name]Mirabelle[/name]/[name]Mirabel[/name] as they would with [name]Joy[/name]/[name]Belle[/name].
Other ideas featuring a lot of my favourite floral names:
[name]Jessamine[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Zinnia[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Marguerite[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Marigold[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] ([name]Blythe[/name] as a possible meaning-of-[name]Joy[/name]-sound-of-[name]Belle[/name] blend?)
[name]Viola[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Mirabelle[/name] [name]Briar[/name]
[name]Camellia[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
Thanks ladies! I really appreciate this input. I am so happy to hear that you both like [name]Lilac[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name] - it is my very favorite. I agree that [name]Delphine[/name] is too close to [name]Daphne[/name]…and I wouldn’t want two daughters to share initials and the other not. My name starts with a V, so I love Verlaine…this is all very helpful!
Oh, and [name]Marigold[/name]!! [name]How[/name] lovely! And [name]Flora[/name]!!
[name]Love[/name] [name]Lilly[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name], my own daughter is [name]Lily[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] and she’s been getting called [name]Lily[/name]-[name]Belle[/name] a bit lately as a nn, similar to your own idea of a nn for [name]Lilac[/name].
[name]Marigold[/name] is precious!!! And brings the nn: [name]Goldie[/name]! That could be fabulous. I also love [name]Daisy[/name]. So sweet and it was, according to my mom, my first word!
I like [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name]. Like another user said, she could go by [name]Lily[/name]-[name]Belle[/name]. [name]Delphine[/name] is too close to [name]Daphne[/name], so I wouldn’t use it.
My 15-year-old son is named [name]Field[/name], and his 7-year-old brother is [name]Springer[/name]. So, naturally, I’d suggest [name]Spring[/name] if it’s a girl!

I’ve never heard of anyone else named [name]Field[/name] - how wonderful with [name]Springer[/name]!! Fabulous brother names. And thank you dianeanee - infertility was a hard, hard time (but so worth every tear!). I feel so honored to get to do this all over again…and so much easier this time (fingers crossed)!! [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Poppy[/name] and [name]Field[/name]…love!!!
I like [name]Lilac[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Joy[/name]. Another flower name that wasn’t mentioned yet is [name]Yarrow[/name], which I love, but it’s not quite as girly. Someone listed [name]Zinnia[/name] which I really like too.
[name]Linnea[/name] is very pretty and feminine. I am not 100% on how it is pronounced, though…? And [name]Rosalie[/name] is gorgeous - if [name]Daphne[/name]'s middle name wasn’t [name]Rose[/name], I would use it as a first name for another girl in a heartbeat. Her nickname is Rosebud, though, so it won’t work. [name]Love[/name] all of this input - thank you!!!
[name]Violette[/name] or [name]Violetta[/name] are my favorites, and I think they age very well into adulthood. [name]Just[/name] not fond of [name]Joy[/name] as a middle name, but only because the VJ initials bother me.
All the names are so lovely though, you can’t go wrong. The suggestion of [name]Marguerite[/name] is very clever as well.
