[name]Flower[/name] names are so pretty…

[name]Marigold[/name]
[name]Lily[/name]
[name]Azalea[/name]
[name]Marguerite[/name] (means [name]Daisy[/name])
[name]Poppy[/name]
I even like [name]Petal[/name].

[name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Gardenia[/name]
[name]Marigold[/name]
[name]Calla[/name]
[name]Azalea[/name] (one of my faves!)
[name]Primrose[/name]

[name]Lilac[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name] (perhaps with the nn: Lilabelle) - [name]Love[/name] it! [name]Love[/name] the nn of Lilabelle!
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Joy[/name] - The simplicity of this spelling is better to the eye, in my opinion. I love the combo!
[name]Lilly[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name] - [name]Love[/name] the name [name]Lilly[/name]!
[name]Lavender[/name] [name]Louise[/name] - Not a big fan pf this combo. I don’t really like either name.
[name]Clementine[/name] [name]Louise[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] (it’s on my Guilty Pleasures list)! But I really don’t like [name]Louise[/name]. Not my cup or tea, so to speak.
[name]Iris[/name] [name]Belle[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! I love the name [name]Belle[/name].

oh, these are all fabulous comments. i am already over louise, too. it is my husband’s grandmother’s name and while i would love to use a family name, that one isn’t top of my list. joy is my sister’s middle name - hadn’t considered that the initials of violette joy would be vj…makes me rethink a bit, but that combo is my current favorite.

also really loving marigold…goldie! so precious!

and petal. ahhhh, if only i could get my husband on board with petal or posey - life would be so sweet!

I love [name]Lilac[/name] and [name]Lavender[/name], although I’m not a fan of their middle names. The suggestion of [name]Jessa[/name],one is precious,

[name]Lilac[/name] is rather stunning. I’d be a bit concerned about the sonic similarities between “Violent” and [name]Violet[/name], but I’m sure you’ve already made peace with that if it’s one of your favorites.

I haven’t seen any shout-outs for [name]Magnolia[/name] nn [name]Maggie[/name], so I’ll throw it in to the ring. I love the theme you have going.

Here are a few flower names (and a few nature/plant names) Sorry for any repeats!

[name]Blossom[/name]
[name]Bryony[/name]
[name]Flora[/name]
[name]Fleur[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Petunia[/name]
[name]Jasmine[/name]
[name]Calla[/name]
[name]Coral[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Leilani[/name]
[name]Meadow[/name]
[name]Poesy[/name]
[name]Saffron[/name]

More lovely suggestions - thank you all! I have a friend with a sweet [name]Magnolia[/name] nn: [name]Maggie[/name] - I love [name]Magnolia[/name], wish she would stick with that instead of using the nn…either way it is out since I know one!

[name]Truth[/name] be told, [name]Lilac[/name] is my very favorite. [name]Favorite[/name] flower, favorite scent, favorite of the names. I need my husband to come around! I still love [name]Violet[/name]/[name]Violette[/name], but I have NOT gotten past the similarity to violent, making it a beautiful - yet somewhat dark - name, in my opinion. Ahhh, this is a great problem to have, but admittedly one that is taking up all the space in my pregnancy brain!!!

Oh, and now my favorite is [name]Lilac[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]. Thoughts?

I love [name]Daisy[/name]

[name]How[/name] about adding [name]Azalea[/name] to your list?

I love [name]Daisy[/name], too. So nice.

I think [name]Azalea[/name] is very pretty, but for some reason (not any good one, not even one I can articulate) I can’t see myself ever warming to a name with a -z in it. I like them when I hear other people using them, but they always feel awkward to me when I am writing them. It is a beautiful floral option, though!

And our baby #3 is a GIRL, so now I have to make this floral decision!!! Please continue to help!!

Currently, I am loving [name]Violette[/name] [name]Louise[/name], [name]Violet[/name] [name]Louise[/name], [name]Lilac[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (nn: [name]Lilou[/name]), [name]Lilly[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (nn: [name]Lilou[/name]), [name]Violette[/name] [name]Joy[/name]. Still also love [name]Marigold[/name] (nn: [name]Goldie[/name]) and [name]Daisy[/name], but am having a very hard time getting my husband on board! My twin girls are [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Camille[/name], so flowers are my fantasy!! Thanks berries!

Congrats on girl #3. All of my girls have flowers as their middle names.

I like [name]Lilac[/name] [name]Louise[/name] the best of your choices so far.

I don’t think [name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Poppy[/name] are such “in your face” flower names like sisters [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Lily[/name], so that definitely helps when adding a 3rd little one.

If you wanted to be a little more subtle with the flower theme, you could try:

[name]Hazel[/name] (or [name]Aveline[/name] - which means [name]Hazel[/name])
[name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Flora[/name]
[name]Bryony[/name]
[name]Cassia[/name]
[name]Olive[/name]
[name]Heather[/name]
[name]Jessamine[/name]

I also think [name]Iris[/name] would be really sweet with your sibset.

I would suggest [name]Magnolia[/name], [name]Fleur[/name], [name]Posey[/name] & [name]Leilani[/name]

The first thought I had was [name]Magnolia[/name] or [name]Marigold[/name] or [name]Dahlia[/name] as well as [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Lilac[/name] and maybe with [name]Susannah[/name] as a middle name as it means lily like [name]Daphne[/name] means laurel so it’s a sublet connection after a more prominent floral first name so that it’s not over the top or a mouthful of flowers in the one name but still very much connected to the theme
I would have suggested [name]Primrose[/name] too as I think it’s very sweet but with [name]Daphne[/name]'s middle name being [name]Rose[/name] I didn’t know if you’d want to use it
I love the suggestion of Fleur from above me too
Can’t wait to hear what you decide I love the idea of a floral theme

So many lovely flower names! [name]Daisy[/name] is a favorite of mine, and [name]Lily[/name] is adorable. [name]Violet[/name] has always had a special place in my heart too.

Based on your beautiful “surprise” flower and all that you’ve been through, I think [name]Joy[/name] as a middle name would be so appropriate and meaningful. All of the the names suggested in the thread sound great with it, and the meaning will be lovely. Everyone will appreciate it, since [name]Joy[/name] has a straightforward, unadulterated meaning.

I think [name]Daisy[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is such a sun-shiny, happy name. [name]Violet[/name] [name]Joy[/name] has the depth and beauty mixed with happiness, and [name]Lily[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is just really cute.

Wishing you lots of [name]Joy[/name] and happiness with all of your flower babies!

[name]Daisy[/name] is a great name.

[name]Clover[/name] is an up and coming favorite of mine.

But you really can’t go wrong with [name]Violet[/name]…

Thank you all so much! We have come to a decision, and we are thrilled with it. In the end, my husband had the winning combination!

[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Camille[/name] & [name]Violet[/name] [name]Delphine[/name].

Swoon! I am in love! All six names have floral references: [name]Daphne[/name] (meaning laurel and itself is a blooming plant), [name]Rose[/name] (obvious), [name]Poppy[/name] (obvious), [name]Camille[/name] (derived from the [name]Camilla[/name] flower), [name]Violet[/name] (obvious) and [name]Delphine[/name] (derived from the Delphinium flower). I am so pleased with the bouquet we have picked (couldn’t help that!).

Thank you all for your input. Now I need a dozen more little girls to use all of the great florals…
