[name]Rose[/name] is on the rise, [name]Marigold[/name] is golden and you can pick a [name]Daisy[/name] up, here and there, but are all flower names appropriate?
Are [name]Azalea[/name]'s, [name]Wisteria[/name]'s and [name]Hyacinth[/name]'s next in line?
What about the name meaning, do you simply take your daughters name to mean ‘flower’ or do you look for the symbolism the flower represents?
What draws you to the floral love? Is it just a spring wind in the air, or are the seeds of the season blossoming into a garden of choices?
You tell me- which names would you choose, which ones are you leery of and why?
My name is [name]Lily[/name] and of course, being a name nerd, I’ve always been disappointed in the meaning. “[name]Flower[/name]”. So, I looked into what the [name]Lily[/name] symbolizes. I think having that extra step was very interesting to me and added a depth to the name, if that makes sense. (In case you’re wondering, [name]Lily[/name] symbolizes innocence and purity.)
I like some flower names, such as [name]Marigold[/name] and [name]Iris[/name]. Others, like [name]Daisy[/name] seem too cutesy. [name]Azalea[/name] and [name]Hyacinth[/name] might be nice for some, but they’re too complicted for me. I guess I tend to like the classics. [name]Rose[/name], [name]Violet[/name] and such. They’re simple and I think they make great middle names.
