love the name flynn and it is a family surname but for some reason feels to “soft” to me for a boy…it reminds me of the girls name, winnie. does flynn work for a girl?
- Yes, it works well
- Meh, it works okay
- No, it does not work at all

I actually really like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] for a girl:)
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] is pretty accepted as a unisex name, especially as a nickname for [name_u]Finley[/name_u], so I don’t see why [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] couldn’t be used on a girl just as easily.
I can see [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] as a girl, especially in the middle spot, and especially especially for a short, spunky first name, like…
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Callie[/name_f] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
As a first name, I think [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] needs a longer, more traditionally feminine middle, like…
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] Isabelle/a
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_f]Wildrose[/name_f] (super fairytale/romantic!)
I don’t like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] for a girl, but maybe as a nickname for something like [name_u]Florence[/name_u].
I think it works for a girl. It is soft and its basically [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] with an F. I actually really like it for a girl.
