I’ve really been loving the idea of [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] as a double middle lately. [name_m]Both[/name_m] have oodles of significance, and since [name_f]Lily[/name_f]/[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]/[name_f]Liliana[/name_f] is off my list as a FN (for now, at least), I’d really like to use it as a middle. Any ideas? So far I’ve tossed around [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and [name_f]Aurelie[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. Any other ideas?
I like [name_f]Aurelie[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]!
since Emsky already mentioned [name_f]Florence[/name_f], I am going to have to think of a different one to start off my list of ideas. Another vote for [name_f]Florence[/name_f].
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] ( mad a lynn or mad a line )
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is beautiful! Of the names you have listed, I like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] the best.
You have already received some substantial input so I’m just going to throw out there that I really love [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] as a fn/mn combo.
Hey [name_u]Ash[/name_u] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] saw your thread.
I think [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is a really fun mn combo - Inspired even. I know you’ve been trying to get both [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] in as mn’s and have been finding it a little difficult to get it just right.
I particularly like [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. I think that [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] flows off the tongue more easily when the first name is more traditional.
Thanks, ladies! Rachel and Hannah are actually off my list (for FNs, for now, at least), so those are a no-go, but I did like them. :). I like the idea of Rosamund Cosima Lily, as well as Ophelia and several of the others–I guess we’ll see. I like the idea of Isabelle Cosima Lily, but I’m pretty set on my current Isabelle combo (Isabelle Aurora Grace)–it’s pretty significant itself. I had been tossing around Eleni Cosima Rue, but I almost think I like Eleni Cosima Lily better? Thoughts on that?
As for Florence, Beatrice, etc., they’re fine names, but not to my taste at all.
As for just Cosima Lily, I like it, of course, and I’ve been thinking about it, but I do two middles, and adding something after Cosima Lily just seems like too much. I’m also unsure about Cosima up front. I love it, but it has always just been MN material for me–I’m not sure I can see me with a Cosima? It is such a beautiful and unusual name, though… I would want a NN though, and I’m not sure there’s one for Cosima I like? I’m not really a Coco/Cosy fan, and I don’t like Cici enough to use it…
[name_f]Cosima[/name_f] is my favourite name, so I am totally biased I think it’s such a lovely first name: it’s uncommon but not too special; it has a lot of great history to back it up; it’s absolutely ravishing, I mean like a genuinely gorgeous name etc. The nickname I have listed for [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] is [name_f]Mimi[/name_f]; I’m not too fond of [name_f]Coco[/name_f] (makes me think of [name_f]Chanel[/name_f]) or Cosy either.
