Hello!
My late grandfather’s name was [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and I’ve always wanted to use his name as middle name for a girl. I’d prefer it to be a double name (I’m from the south so that sort of thing is common in my area). I realize many would say to save this name for a boy but I am less of a traditional name style and prefer the more unexpected.
Combos I’ve considered in the past have been
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_f]Vivi[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
But they’re not quite right I don’t think.
Any ideas?
Maybe you’d like…
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f] (li-[name_f]NAYA[/name_f]) [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
More importantly, I would choose a first name that flows really well with your last name as that is who she’ll be known as. Another possibility - have you considered using a feminine version like [name_f]Charlize[/name_f] (Last Name)? [name_f]Charlize[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is lovely!
I’m from the South so I get double barrel’s. However, I think it’s a bit tough with Charles in there. My first thought for you is Lillian Charles.
As a double barrel:
Lily Charles
Evie Charles
Ella Charles
Millie Charles
Anna Charles
Hallie Charles
As a middle:
Lillian Charles
Lorelei Charles
Violet Charles
Amelia Charles
Sylvia Charles
Eleanor Charles
Jacqueline Charles
Beatrice Charles
I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] is super sweet!
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] or [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] sound adorable!
Also a Southerner here and I love double-barrel names. My favorites from your list are [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] or [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]. Of course, the first one that came to mind is [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] which I think is sweet.
