I really like both first names a lot but slightly prefer [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] for the sound and flow with MN [name_f]Harlow[/name_f].
I really like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]! It’s a lovely combo
I love both but [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] has a tiny bit of an edge.
Both are lovely, but I would be much more excited meeting a little [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. [name_m]How[/name_m] beautiful and refreshing! Plus I love alliteration.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] is so nice and so underrated. I vote for that one.
I added a poll, and I would loooove to hear reasons! [name_m]How[/name_m] does one decide?! I’ve written them both out a hundred times and I think they’re both cute. I just don’t know…!
I think having it narrowed down to two names is really great and I would just wait on it until having the baby. You never know which one will jump out at you more once you see them.
I like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] best. She sounds like a glamorous actress from the 1930s! Plus, [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] could turn into Ceci, like you mentioned loving in that Name [name_u]Sage[/name_u] post (if I’m remembering the right one?).
Good luck!
I voted for [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] goes very well together, it sounds very cool and glamorous and the nickname [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is very sweet. I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Colette[/name_f], it sounds awkward when I say it.
I refer [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]; I think [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is a bit of a mouthful, though I do love [name_f]Lucille[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is very pretty, but I’ve come across quite a few babies named [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_f]Colette[/name_f]…it would be so delightful to meet a baby [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. It’s stand-outish without being “trying too hard”. It’s delicate without being insubstantial. It’s understated but intriguing. Both sound great with [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]. Both are beautiful. But [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is so much more interesting! And the alliteration will make her memorable (my husband and I are B. and B. B___- people get so excited about that when they meet us).
You have two great options for your little one- I’m sure you’ll figure it out
Definitely [name_f]Collette[/name_f]! It’s such a lovely name. [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is nice too, but she could end up as one of many [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s. I also think having the alliteration is really nice, ans [name_f]Collette[/name_f] seems like a great name to be followed with a hard C last. Both of beautiful choices!
I love all of these names to bits. I agree with a previous poster that you may just have to wait until your baby comes to pick. I think [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is feminine yet strong, where as [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] has more of a gentle femininity. Perhaps you would consider a double middle? [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] C____ or [name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] C___ even sounds nice without the ‘[name_f]Harlow[/name_f]’ if you’re not set on that.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] C______ is also precious. Good luck!
My stepdaughter is [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & she’s grumbled for years that the majority of Lucys/Lucilles she meets are dogs. [name_m]Just[/name_m] thought I’d pass that along from an actual [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]…
