the azaleas in my neighborhood have come out in full bloom this week, beautifully bright and pink! I know a lot of people on here (myself included) have associations between names and colors so I thought it would be fun to see what names come to mind for the color of these flowers:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]from our own garden[name_f][/name_f]
personally, the letter A is naturally a dark pink much like these flowers, so I think of A names: [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], and [name_f]Astra[/name_f] come to mind!
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
can’t wait to see what names this color calls for you!
So beautiful!! I’m not a big name-color person, but the first few that come to mind are [name_f]Carmen[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalia[/name_f], [name_f]Anthea[/name_f], and Faryal!
Omg the letter A is also a dark pink to me!! (sometimes a lighter pink but it depends on the word/name)
[name_f][/name_f]
I especially see a name in dark pink if the first two letters are A and D so [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is very much that color to me. Others would be [name_f]Adora[/name_f], [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_m]Adair[/name_m], [name_f]Daria[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], and Gale/Gayle/Gail would also be very close to that color.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
D is a true red for me so pretty similar to [name_f][/name_f] so mixed with A it makes it that dark pinkish red color. And G is burgundy but mixed with other letters (again, especially A) it gets close to
A is reds to dark pink for me too. These photos ‘make me think:
Katie
Zadie
Indira
Kiana
Carmine
Juliana
And I agree with Anthea!
And of course, the more obvious Rhodora or Azalea! (Realised after I’ve gone more for colour plus vibes of flower. For colour only, Anastasia would be on list for sure!)
Stunning azaleas! Feeling summer vibes from that photo
[name_f][/name_f]
Completely agree about [name_f]Ariana[/name_f] & [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] other A names that spring to mind and match up this image for me are [name_f]Amara[/name_f], [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f], [name_f]Ayanna[/name_f], [name_f]Araceli[/name_f], [name_f]Acacia[/name_f], [name_f]Alara[/name_f], [name_f]Amal[/name_f], [name_f]Athena[/name_f] & [name_f]Astoria[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
Other names that I feel work are [name_f]Catalina[/name_f], [name_f]Marisol[/name_f], [name_f]Evadne[/name_f], [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] & [name_f]Elora[/name_f].
I totally agree with [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] and [name_f]Ariana[/name_f] as well! [name_f]Astra[/name_f] feels more dark blue/starry night colored to me, probably because of the meaning.
I don’t really have color associations, but pink does tend to make me think of M names and T names.
[name_f][/name_f]
So I think of names like [name_f]Michaela[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_m]Tully[/name_m]!
This colour is closest to how I see J names so [name_f]Jolie[/name_f], [name_f]Jamila[/name_f], [name_f]Jessica[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f], [name_f]Janina[/name_f] and [name_f]Jana[/name_f]. [name_m]Joss[/name_m], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f], [name_m]Jules[/name_m], [name_m]Jude[/name_m], [name_m]James[/name_m] and [name_m]Jamie[/name_m]. (I do wonder if this one comes from an early association with J for [name_m]Jam[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f] )
[name_f][/name_f]
Beyond J names [name_f]Kaia[/name_f], [name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] also have a similar tone
Oh they’re beautiful! [name_f][/name_f] For me most M names have that bold magenta color, but [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is close (although it’s usually more of a plum color than a magenta, but just barely).
[name_f]Or[/name_f] even [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], this is like a shade between coral and magenta imo so something like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabella[/name_f] feels perfect.
