We are expecting in [name]April[/name] so we have a long way to go but my husband suddenly suggested [name]Phoebe[/name] and for now that’s our top girls name.
Here are the combo’s we’re thinking of
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]James[/name] (PJ for short, [name]James[/name] is dad and grandpa)
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Helen[/name] (after grandma)
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Hope[/name] ( just because we could all use some)
Boys names we are all over the place:
[name]Augustus[/name] (husbands first choice)
[name]Baxter[/name]
[name]Dexter[/name]
[name]Theodore[/name]
Well, I may not be helpful because I really really really dislike the name [name]Phoebe[/name]. It just sounds so harsh to me…
But perhaps paired with a pretty middle name, I could be swayed.
From your combos , I like [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Hope[/name]. I like the mimicked "o"s in both names. The other two combos are NMS.
For the boys, I love [name]August[/name] instead of [name]Augustus[/name]. We were considering that for our sixth but he is little [name]Atticus[/name] instead
I also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] from your list. I think [name]August[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] or [name]Theodore[/name] [name]August[/name]/[name]Augustus[/name] would be cute!
Your husband has great taste! I think [name]Phoebe[/name] is great. [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Hope[/name] is nice, the letters do get repeated a lot, though. I prefer [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]James[/name] or [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Hope[/name] to [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Helen[/name] because of the syllable count. The flow of [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Helen[/name] is off a little. [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Helena[/name] would work better, [name]IMO[/name].
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]August[/name]. [name]Way[/name] more than [name]Augustus[/name] (just seems like a lot of name) but [name]Augustus[/name] is also great. [name]Dexter[/name] and [name]Baxter[/name] are also nice, but [name]Baxter[/name] makes me think of a dog for some reason. Never been a fan of [name]Theodore[/name] but you can’t go wrong with it, it’s a classic!
