Can you tell me what nicknames can come from it? Besides the obvious [name]Ash[/name]…because I’m not a huge fan of it, but I really like this name, but I’d rather have a different nickname for it in mind.
[name]Ash[/name] is really the only nickname for [name]Asher[/name]. If you don’t like [name]Ash[/name] then I would suggest going with another first name. Although I do think it’s silly to discard [name]Asher[/name] because you don’t like [name]Ash[/name]. Why does a two syllable name need a nickname?
I can see an [name]Asher[/name] being called [name]Asa[/name], [name]Ace[/name], A, or maybe AJ if you pick a J mn.
People may shorten it (automatically) to [name]Ash[/name], but I’ve found if you correct someone once (or twice or 3 times depending on the person- lol), they will remember.
