[name_f]My[/name_f] husband suggested this last night for our bump (sex unconfirmed) and I can’t stop thinking about it.
For those who don’t know our daughter is [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and previously I’ve tried to avoid overly theme-y sets and same initials but we’ve decided we absolutely want to stop at two and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_u]Forest[/name_u] just seems too sweet to pass up.
We don’t like the [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] spelling.
[name_u]Jack[/name_u] is set aside as a middle to honour my mum but I’m not sure how I feel about [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jack[/name_u]. Is it too lumberjack? [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] could be better but I already have a few cousins called [name_u]James[/name_u] etc. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes the idea of [name_m]Huon[/name_m] (we’re in Tasmania - home of the [name_m]Huon[/name_m] pine) but [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_m]Huon[/name_m] is probably a bit much.
[name_m]Silas[/name_m] is our frontrunner and I know it has the meaning of forest but it doesn’t feel as warm to me. I also love [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] but hubby not so convinced.
I think [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] is nice, but if you are worried there are a ton of alternatives. [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_m]Zane[/name_m], [name_u]Gio[/name_u], [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], etc.
i love forest!!! and as a pair with flora, that is so adorable. i feel like if you want the middle “jack” but don’t like it with forest, do two middles!! the person above recommended forest theodore which i think is cute, and i feel like something like “forest theodore jack” has a nice ring to it!
I’m glad people like [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jack[/name_u]. I like the suggestion of [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], I’m also thinking of [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jem[/name_u]
We have 2 last names so unfortunately 2 middles would be a bit long winded.
I love Forest he’s so whimsical, fun, outdoorsy and feels dreamy. I think Forest is completely your vibe and such a natural brother name for Flora. Honestly Flora + Forest are such a dreamy sibling set and as you’re stopping at two it’s not like you’re pigeonholing yourself into a theme that you can’t keep up. Flora + Forest are such a dreamy pair truly gorgeous and feels very you. I love Forest Jack that’s such an adorable name! Other middle names ideas could be Forest Jacques, Forest Timothy, Forest Jasper, Forest Jeremy and Forest Declan.

[name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Henry[/name_u], [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Julian[/name_u], [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] and [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Arthur[/name_u] came to mind
I’d normally be wary of themey sets but since you definitely want just two… [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and Forest?!?! Simply wonderful
[name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] is pretty nice. I probably prefer it to [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_u]Jack[/name_u], and I agree [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_m]Huon[/name_m] is possibly a bit much with the meanings (although it flows nicely!).
Probably my tippy top favourite would be [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] - [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] - but of course you both need to love it!

I think [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] sounds nice, as well as [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]. [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_m]Huon[/name_m] has a nice sound too, but it is a bit literal/descriptive.
I love [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] for you, but the flow with [name_u]Forest[/name_u] isn’t the best, same with [name_u]Atlas[/name_u].
Overall, i like [name_u]Forest[/name_u] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] best!
