I also zeroed in on Forestine and thought it was lovely not laughable! I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Forestine. From the honor [name_u]James[/name_u] in your signature I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Molly[/name_f] Forestine or [name_f]Alba[/name_f] Forestine or even Forestine [name_f]Alba[/name_f]. Forestine would be a great first name with a short middle. Forestine [name_f]Mae[/name_f], Forestine [name_f]Maude[/name_f], Forestine [name_f]Claire[/name_f], Forestine [name_f]Zelda[/name_f].

So funny – my mom and I were joking the other day about writing a children’s book starring a little Hedgehog named Forestine. We thought we had made up the name, and then I saw today’s blog post!
I think it’s perhaps better suited to a woodland creature, but it is lovely. I especially like it in the middle.
Forestine sounds really sweet, but almost too cutesy, like a character from a book or game. Maybe because it reminds me of [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Frostine[/name_f] from the Candyland board game. I’m not sure I can see it on a real person. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Forestine sounds beautiful, but more like an enchanted woodland fairy in a story than a real girl, especially since [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is also on the more fanciful

I thought the same thing when reading the blog post today! I also really enjoy Florestine & [name_u]Florentine[/name_u] too so this is really similar. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Forestine is stunning, I wouldn’t change a thing!
I actually really like Forestine, haha. I like [name_f]Frostine[/name_f] too. For a middle name, I think that it is definitely useable and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] Forestine is beautiful!
I think middles allow for a lot of latitude, so if you love it, it seems fine.
Forestine is magical. I love it. But admittedly, it might be tough to pull off.
While It does look like a smoosh name, it’s not one I find a problem with! Though I’d be tempted just to use [name_m]Forest[/name_m]/[name_m]Forrest[/name_m].
But laughable? Nah.
