What are some formal names for [name_m]Huey[/name_m] besides [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]? We don’t like [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] and hubby vetoed [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. We do definitely want a formal name rather than just calling him [name_m]Huey[/name_m] but love the nickname.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
[name_m]Huey[/name_m] is adorable. I like [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], but maybe [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]? It’s a stretch, but a longer formal name that starts w/an ‘H’.
I think any H name would work!
[name_m]Harry[/name_m], [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], [name_m]Harold[/name_m], [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m], [name_m]Henrik[/name_m], [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_m]Hamish[/name_m], etc.
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u]
[name_m]Hurley[/name_m]
[name_m]Hubert[/name_m]
[name_m]Hughes[/name_m]
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
[name_m]Hutchinson[/name_m]/Hutch
Donoghue/[name_m]Donahue[/name_m]
Hui
[name_u]Howard[/name_u]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_m]Howell[/name_m]
[name_m]Holmes[/name_m]
[name_m]Hosea[/name_m]
[name_m]Hansel[/name_m]/[name_m]Hans[/name_m]
My husband’s friend has a son named Hueston whom they call [name_m]Huey[/name_m]. I’ve thought it was super cute
You could also spell it [name_m]Houston[/name_m]
Theres also [name_m]Hewett[/name_m]/[name_m]Hewitt[/name_m] or Huon “Huey”
Seconding [name_u]Hudson[/name_u], [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] (or [name_m]Huntley[/name_m]), Donoghue, and [name_m]Houston[/name_m]!
Or perhaps you could use [name_m]Humbert[/name_m], [name_m]Humphrey[/name_m], or [name_m]Huxley[/name_m]?
Ok, this is a stretch, but what about [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]? I mean it’s kinda got that [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] sound at the end lol. I also quite like the previous suggestion of [name_m]Houston[/name_m]!
