I have been an active Nameberry forum user for quite some time now but since the beginning everytime I wan’t to mark a name as a name so the website would direct you to the nameberry site of that name when you click on it, it doesn’t work automatically and I don’t know how to fix it. The name should appear in colour so that you can click on it. I hope I explained my problem in a comprehensible way and that I haven’t embarrassed myself with a stupid question for I seem to be the only one who has that problem.
Are you sure it doesn’t happen automatically? It takes some minutes until they appear in colour, not right when you post it.
You can also do it manually, with “[“name_m”]”[name_m]Robert[/name_m]"["/name_m"]", “[“name_f”]”[name_f]Emma[/name_f]"["/name_f"]" or “[“name_u”]”[name_u]River[/name_u]"["/name_u"]"

Usually it takes maybe as much as five minutes for it to happen, but there’s an exception I’m not sure most people are aware of!
If you edit your post right after making it, before the names have become links, you interrupt the process and your names will stay un-clickable.
Usually, if I have to edit a post, I wait for a while and refresh a couple of times for the names to change colour before editing, and then I manually add the right code to whatever names I edit in…
I tried to look for a setting that you can switch on and off, but there doesn’t seem to be one I can find…
@dearest @wandarine Thanks for the help I accually checked some of my old forum posts and the names are actually linked and in colour so thanks for clearing that up I didn’t realize that it just takes some time
