On your list I like Isobel, Maeve, Zoelie and Kaia (though I think Caia is a much more elegant spelling).
I suggest:
Isobel Zoe
Zoelie Maeve
Caia Zoelie
Is Sylvie an option? I think it’s a beautiful and modern variation of Sylvia.
Also, have you considered Zoelle? Sloane Zoelle sounds infinitely better to me than Sloane Zoe or even Sloane Zoelie.
Since you both love [name_u]Sloane[/name_u], why not use [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]? I actually think it goes really well with [name_m]Liam[/name_m] – both are modern and straightforward and a bit unconventional in terms of gender but clearly boy and girl to me. [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] sounds like [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]…it’s biggest downside would be if you wanted to save [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] for a future baby.
And as for going with a middle name that you are using to honor family, I think in that case you really shouldn’t worry about flow at all. I like [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] a lot, but [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is fine. [name_f]Do[/name_f] not like [name_f]Zoelie[/name_f] but what about [name_f]Zee[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]? Either works great with [name_u]Sloane[/name_u].
I would stay away from [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], which I absolutely love but even with the spelling variation is just not truly different from the legion of Isabelles, Isabels, Isabellas etc in the world.
I wonder what it is that attracts you so strongly to [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] and whether you can find a girls’ name that does the same thing. Such as:
[name_u]Romy[/name_u]
[name_f]Roisin[/name_f] (an Irish name pronounced [name_f]Ro[/name_f]-sheen)
[name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Rhonwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f]
[name_u]Remi[/name_u] or [name_u]Remy[/name_u]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is one of my personal favorites, so I’m drawn to that. Also, [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] sound great together. I love [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] too but I’ve always been worried about how masculine it is. Also sounds great with [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] (which I pronounce the same way you do: is-o-bel) is also lovely but I think it would get lost in the mix with all the [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]'s and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]'s. But I just love the [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] spelling!
I personally love the name [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. I think it goes great with the names
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoelie[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
