So we found out the sexes of our triplets FINALLY!! The first 2 times we went for an ultrasound the babies were not in good positions to see anything!!

Now that I am 28 weeks we found out that all 3 babies are girls!!!

We decided on the names…

[name]Maggie[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]! I think they will go great with [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]!

We may even be really dorky and name them [name]Maggie[/name] [name]Mae[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Sky[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Tuesday[/name]!

(since [name]Eleanor[/name]'s middle name is rigby we might as well continue with the trend!)

Only another 12 weeks! I know i wont make it to my due date so probably another 6-8 weeks!

i will let everone know when they are born and let you know the middle names etc!

But, I don’t recommend giving them such… obvious… middle names, but as you already did with [name]Eleanor[/name], I guess there’s no going back.

Please don’t name your kid [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Tuesday[/name]… that’s just mean… It’s such a well known restaurant. The other two are okay and I don’t really like the theme thing you have going, but I would find a different song that has [name]Ruby[/name] and use a different middle name…

My daughter is [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Anne[/name] [name]Rigby[/name]… no one ever uses her middle name so we have never had a problem with it… BUT seeing as how everyone seems to dislike this so much maybe i will give double barreled middle names like with [name]Eleanor[/name] and make it less obvious… not that it bothers me… everyone will know we have chosen beatles names anyways!

It just feels a bit samey.

[name]Margaret[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] [name]Mae[/name] sounds a lot fustier in comparison, more of a vintage style. Which is nice, just not the best match to [name]Lucia[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Sky[/name], and I think triplets will probably care a lot about equality!

[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Louise[/name] is gorgeous too. Not sure about [name]Mardi[/name] though. I’d actually prefer just [name]Tuesday[/name] in there. Spaced out with [name]Louise[/name] it should be ok. Other options are Tiu, since nameberry states [name]Tuesday[/name] means Tiu’s [name]Day[/name], or I actually think I prefer [name]Martes[/name] to [name]Mardi[/name], it seems a little softer and more feminine.

And [name]Lucy[/name] in the [name]Sky[/name] is about an LSD trip. It’s cool that their names are songs, but shouldn’t it matter what the song means? You are carrying these triplets so I say more power to you mama and name them what you want. I think it connects all of them in a nice, uncommon way and who knows they may grow up to love the Beatles because of it. I do love the double middle name because [name]Eleanor[/name] has one and they all should have a common first mn and the quirky second middle name. It’s funny you asked about [name]Georgia[/name] because that was in my mind when I was reading the triplets names…how funny. I love [name]Georgia[/name]. Would you use it as a first middle name? I would use it for the others and not [name]Ruby[/name] as it would be a little too wordy of a name with a gem, a state and a day of the week, kwim? You have the Beatles/classic rock song theme and a jewel theme ([name]Ruby[/name], [name]Diamond[/name], [name]Pearl[/name]). I dont think you should use something you don’t [name]LOVE[/name] just to stick with a theme though. Make sure you love all the individual names equally even if it means they end up not matching perfectly.

I think it’s kind of cool that you’re doing this, I love the Beatles myself (though I definitely don’t know all their songs). And seriously, I don’t know how it is over where you live, but people over in the US probably wouldn’t even get the Beatles connection unless you pointed it out yourself. They would just think the names were whimsical and pretty. I love the song [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Tuesday[/name]. The name reminds me much more of the song or the movie the [name]Royal[/name] Tenenbaums (which uses the song in the soundtrack) than of the restaurant, although I walk by one almost everyday on my lunch hour. I’m normally not big on name themes, but I say go for it. They’re all “normal” enough first names, so it’s not like most people would even know that they are named after songs. “[name]Ruby[/name] T. [name]Jones[/name]” (or whatever) would look perfectly acceptable on a resume.

And for the person who said that [name]Lucy[/name] in the [name]Sky[/name] with Diamonds was about a LSD trip, that is less clear. [name]Lennon[/name] got the title from a picture that his son [name]Julian[/name] drew of his friend [name]Lucy[/name] Vodden from school. Supposedly [name]Lennon[/name] didn’t even notice what the letters spelled out until after the album came out, although given how much acid he was ingesting at the time, I’m sure that it influenced how the imagery appealed to him. @mam2many - if you wanted to do all Beatles names (although I love [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Tuesday[/name]), maybe you could consider [name]Penelope[/name]/[name]Penny[/name] [name]Lane[/name], [name]Sadie[/name], [name]Molly[/name] ([name]Jones[/name]), [name]Prudence[/name], and [name]Anna[/name], which I think all fit the style of names you have already chosen.
