Thanks so much everyone! She was very cooperative and she kicked me constantly the rest of the day until 11 that night. That night, [name]Cody[/name] leaned over and kissed my belly and talked to her and said “You’re going to be beautiful” and I cried a little
I’m also glad you all think her name is gorgeous. We’ve had it picked out for a year now or so. I’m always going to follow my heart when it comes to naming my children, who cares about current trends!
Congrats on figuring out the gender of your little Owl. It’s almost like you knew when you choose the name [name]Persephone[/name] - how utterly perfect. I’m super excited for you.
Oh my sweetness, it’s a girl!!! That’s wonderful, I love the idea (and now the actual upcoming reality) of a little [name]Persephone[/name] [name]Elysia[/name] [name]Willow[/name] in the world. Mind, I would’ve said the same if it was a boy about [name]Damien[/name] [name]Quillon[/name] Frode… Congrats, [name]Angel[/name]!!!
Thanks [name]Ottilie[/name]! I’m pretty excited too ^^ [name]Cody[/name]'s been calling her [name]Persephone[/name], Sephy, and PEWT alternately when talking to my belly. So I hope she likes by the time she gets here because she’s hearing it a lot. ^^
Congratulations! You have given your darling little girl an immaculate name. Her nicknames are also cute.
Were you able to find a trusted baby website that offered personalized items? Having her initials and [name]Persephone[/name] on her items would be so darling.
I have found some good personalized stuff that I won’t order until after she’s born. The house is coming along nicely and if I have my way, we should be able to move in sometimes this next month. I’m due on the 4th of [name]June[/name] (8 days before my birthday) but of course that’s not set.
As for the girls clothes shopping, I just went to a Duck Duck Goose sale (consignment sale) and bought a good amount of clothes and have mostly everything else I need. I have like, 24 things on my registry and it’s mostly inconsequential things. Girls clothes are more fun because they’re cuter!
I will say I’m a bit nervous about raising a girl as I know how much of a handful I was and my sister was (and since I wanted a boy anyway, but I’m super happy!) so I hope it’s as sweet and fun as I want it to be.
Fantastic, Dantea, very excited for you! You just have to promise that once [name]Persephone[/name] is hear, you won’t abandon Nameberry. (Strange trivia: When my daughter lived in [name]France[/name], she had a friend named [name]Persephone[/name], pronounced WITHOUT the ee sound at the end so kind of like telephone. Must be the French way?)
