I have two boys, [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] and [name_u]August[/name_u], and a daughter, [name_u]Drew[/name_u]. Her middle name is the meaning of her grandmothers name, [name_f]Susan[/name_f], but it means [name_f]Lily[/name_f] so she’s [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I were throwing names back and forth and he LOVES [name_f]Susie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. He was very close with his mother so I get the sentiment since kids used to call her “Miss [name_f]Susie[/name_f].” I feel like if I change the spelling to [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] it’ll have a modern feel to it. It’s “his turn” to name this kid lol thoughts?? TIA!!
I feel like Quinn as a first name would fit better with Drew. Susie feels dated to me, and Suzie looks incorrect. Maybe Quinn Susannah? Sukie is another option.
I agree with the pp.
What about [name_f]Susan[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] or [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Susan[/name_f]?
Yeah I think [name_f]Susie[/name_f] might be a little too old fashioned compared to your other kids.
Maybe [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_u]Ziggy[/name_u], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], [name_u]Sloane[/name_u], [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_u]Skye[/name_u], [name_u]Sunny[/name_u], [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u], [name_u]Stevie[/name_u], or [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] work with the S sounds like [name_f]Susan[/name_f].
I like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].
I like the [name_f]Susie[/name_f] spelling! [name_f]Susie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is cute.
I love [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] which means [name_f]Lily[/name_f] if that helps? [name_f]Susie[/name_f] would be an adorably fresh nn nowadays
I also prefer [name_f]Susie[/name_f] to [name_u]Drew[/name_u] personally.
I think [name_f]Susan[/name_f] with the NN of [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] or [name_f]Susie[/name_f] is more versatile, especially for the adult/professional years (ie much of her life) : [name_f]Susan[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].
But, if the decision is between [name_f]Susie[/name_f] and [name_f]Suzie[/name_f], I don’t see too much a difference. [name_f]Susie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] seem really similar.
I really like the name [name_f]Suzy[/name_f], and that’s my preferred spelling. I think [name_f]Susie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is a great name! Good luck!
I agree with @fearlessfirefly i think [name_f]Susie[/name_f] stylistically clashes with her sibling names as [name_f]Susie[/name_f] is a lot more traditional. I think having [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as the first name works a lot better something like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Susie[/name_f] would be lovely and works well in your sibling set. Also [name_f]Susie[/name_f] is far prettier than [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] so I would stick with [name_f]Susie[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Suzy[/name_f] is the more modern and logical compromise since [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] seems more nicknamey/ I personally like both and think [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is a cute name.
Suzie [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] feels fresh and cute! I like the [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] spelling here
I think [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as a first name goes well better with your kids names
Maybe [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Susie[/name_f] or [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Susan[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Susie[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]! Personally I think the spelling [name_f]Susie[/name_f] is best, especially since all your other kids have an S in them, not a Z… it just looks for cohesive.
I like it! Either spelling is nice. I think [name_f]Susie[/name_f]/Suzie goes well with your other kids. I wouldnt use [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as a first name.
I think that because all of your kids have unisex names, one with such a traditional and feminine name such as [name_f]Susie[/name_f]/ [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] might be a little out of place. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Susie[/name_f]/ [name_f]Suzie[/name_f] would fit great through!
I literally could not agree more!
I’ll admit it feels very vintage near your kids’ names and it would make me assume [name_u]Drew[/name_u] is a boy. It might work though. The spelling doesn’t change anything for me, they both feel the same. I like the suggestion of using [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as a first name
