What is your first impression of the name [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], is it too much for a baby to carry. I can see it on an adult. What about nn [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] any other nn she could go by as a child?

[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is exquisite! [name_u]Frannie[/name_u] might be cute on the right child, but I prefer [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] or [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], no nickname necessary.

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]. My favorite nickname for it is Cesca.

I really love [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]. It’s a lovely name with beautiful sounds. I don’t think it’s any more to carry than other long names like [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] etc.

For nn I like Chessa

[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is gorgeous! A touch dramatic, and familiar while still having that European flair. I’m not fond of [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] but I’m not a nickname person or a boy names on girls person.

[name_f]Adore[/name_f] it. I was just thinking about this name today. It’s strong and feminine at the same time.

I adore [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]! I think it’s a great name, no issues at all. I’m personally not a fan of the nickname [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], but I like Chessa, [name_f]Chessie[/name_f], Chesca, and Eska. It’s a really pretty name.

Thanks everyone, I really love it too, just having a hard time picturing a newborn with the name. I love some of those nn though, very cute.

I love [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] on anyone of any age! I think it’s a very well-rounded name with lots of cute nickname potential.

I love [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]! I actually know a few from college and I’m quite smitten with it. The name has many nicknames like [name_f]Francie[/name_f], [name_f]Chessie[/name_f], [name_f]Franny[/name_f], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], Frenchie, etc. so you have lots of nickname options!

[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is gorgeous. I’d be all over it (or even [name_f]Frances[/name_f]!) had my cousin not named her newest child [name_m]Francisco[/name_m]!!
