So my husband grandfather, named [name]Frances[/name], died this past year from Leukemia so we thought why not honor his name with the name [name]Francesca[/name]. I really like the name, however, on the other hand the name Fairrah is a nod to my Maiden Name which begins with “Fair”. I’ve kind of taken it upon myself to decide on this one’s name. [name]Guy[/name]'s can only go over names for so long before you loose their attention, ya know?
My second dilemma is that my mother-in-laws middle name is [name]Lynne[/name], however, I’m not a huge fan. I like it, but it’s so boring and predictable. I would love to use it to pay tribute to her, but maybe in a different variation. Keep in mind it will more than likely be paired with one of the two names above. Does anyone have creative ways to use the name [name]Lynne[/name] in a different way? I’ve thought of [name]Lynnea[/name] and [name]Lynelle[/name], but I know there has to be more creative ways to use that name than that. I am all ears and open to any suggestions. Thanks!
[name]Lynette[/name] is the only other one I could think of. There are lots of names with [name]Lyn[/name] or [name]Lynne[/name] on the end though. I think it pretty much goes with anything and maybe that’s why it is so common. It just flows with a lot of names.
My sister’s middle name is Lynae and I always thought it was pretty. I also like [name]Lynelle[/name]. it is a combination of my sisters names. ([name]Arielle[/name] and Lynae) So it would be an honor name in my case too. I think it is pretty. I prefer [name]Francesca[/name] over Fairrah by far.
I like [name]Francesca[/name] Lynae or [name]Lynelle[/name] over [name]Lynette[/name] though.
I would pick [name]Francesca[/name] in a heartbeat over Fairrah. Fairrah just seems kind of odd to me, sorry.
[name]Lynda[/name] or Lyndall are the only other [name]Lyn[/name]- names I can think of offhand that haven’t been mentioned. But I like just plain [name]Lynn/name too.
Oh, also, I think I’ve seen Fairlynn as a surname. That might be a possible middle for you, if you wanted to smoosh your maiden name together with your [name]MIL[/name]'s middle name. But actually I’d prefer [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Lynne[/name] (or variation), and then have you save your maiden name to use as a middle for another child.
