Fraser for a girl?

I’ve liked the name [name_m]Fraser[/name_m] for quite a while (especially with the nickname [name_f]Effie[/name_f], though it’s a bit of a stretch,) but I’m not sure how great it is for a girl. Thoughts?

I’m really not too keen on [name_m]Fraser[/name_m] for a girl, despite the adorable meaning. I agree that [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is a stretch, but it’s an adorable nickname nonetheless. I would just use [name_f]Effie[/name_f].

I think if you have doubts just go ahead with [name_f]Effie[/name_f]. [name_m]Fraser[/name_m] is cute, I personally think it could workd, but if you feel like you need an obviously more femme name to cover it’s probably just best to go with a femme name .

I agree that just using [name_f]Effie[/name_f] would be easier than trying to pull it from [name_m]Fraser[/name_m].

I think [name_m]Fraser[/name_m] could work but I prefer just [name_f]Effie[/name_f] as others have mentioned and I find [name_m]Fraser[/name_m] a little clunky

I think [name_m]Fraser[/name_m] is really handsome, but on a boy only. It’s actually really popular in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] right now (for boys) and it’s a Scottish name so I’d find it odd if someone used it on a girl. [name_f]Effie[/name_f]'s sweet, I don’t think it needs a longer name but even then there are better options.
