Fraternal twins; I wanna stay true to our family's roots

Hello! So, I have now discovered that am pregnant with fraternal twins, one girl and one boy! I’m super excited and me and my husband have decided it’s time to start naming. [name_m]Just[/name_m] one thing, both our family’s have a deep [name_m]Christian[/name_m] faith, and it shows in our names. Ex. [name_f]My[/name_f] names is [name_f]Bethany[/name_f], [name_f]My[/name_f] husbands name is [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], my brothers name is [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. So we want that to apply to our kids as well. We want a set of nice, modern, [name_m]Christian[/name_m] (biblical, Hebrew, etc) names for our kids. So to start off, we threw out some first names, but just a few middle names. Tell me what you think and suggestions are always nice. Also, our surname is [name_m]Henderson[/name_m], so keep that in mind. Thank you!

Girl
[name_f]Danielle[/name_f] Legna
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Christina[/name_f]
[name_u]Casey[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]

Boy
[name_u]Gale[/name_u]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_m]Jason[/name_m] [name_u]Germaine[/name_u]
[name_m]Levi[/name_m]
[name_m]Jeremy[/name_m]

Congrats to you and welcome to Nameberry! Here are my thoughts on your name lists.

Girls

[name_f]Danielle[/name_f] Legna - [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] is ok but the name is starting to sound a little tired. Is Legna of personal significance? [name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce it?
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] - I love the meaning of the name and its vintage charm. The only drawback: it’s popular
[name_f]Christina[/name_f] - a fine name but again it suffers the same fatigue as [name_f]Danielle[/name_f].
[name_u]Casey[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - I don’t find this name particularly [name_m]Christian[/name_m] even though [name_f]Mae[/name_f] can be a nn for [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. It’s Irish and the combo has repetitive “ay” sounds which aren’t ideal.
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] - a less popular Biblical choice than [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] and I do like the way it sounds with your surname too.

Suggestions

[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]/[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]/[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Christiane[/name_f] (instead of [name_f]Christina[/name_f])
[name_f]Faith[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Junia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Judith[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] (nn for [name_f]Mary[/name_f])
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]

Boys

[name_u]Gale[/name_u] - I can’t see anything deeply [name_m]Christian[/name_m] about this name. I’ve known a few female Gails so it’s more of a feminine name in my life experience.
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] - a strong Biblical standout
[name_m]Jason[/name_m] [name_u]Germaine[/name_u] - the names are ok but together they have repetitive “ay” sounds.
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] - see [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]. What about [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_u]Germaine[/name_u]? For flow, [name_m]Levi[/name_m] is probably the best choice with [name_m]Henderson[/name_m].
[name_m]Jeremy[/name_m] - this form of [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] is ok

Suggestions

[name_u]Noah[/name_u]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_m]Joel[/name_m]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m]

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your list are [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m]. Really, really nice names.

They also are totally interchangeable - as firsts and middles too! Certainly as firsts, you could go with either of each!

[name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Levi[/name_m] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]

Thank you so much for the advice! By the way, Legna is a family name, as is [name_u]Casey[/name_u], it’s pronounced like [name_f]Lena[/name_f]. Anyway, the first ones I had in mind were [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m], so I think I’m gonna stick with those. Even as much as I love Noah, Isaac, Charlotte, Evangaline, and Grace. I think [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] would sound better without a middle name, and I think [name_m]Levi[/name_m] would too. I honestly think I’ve made a descision. I love [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m], I like the way they sound with the surname, so, I think I’m done!

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m] are my favorites! Congratulations.

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] & [name_m]Levi[/name_m] are perfect and wonderful glad you chose them!!! Congratulations!!!

Perhaps [name_f]Keziah[/name_f] & [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]?

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your list are [name_f]Christina[/name_f], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], and [name_m]Levi[/name_m].

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m] are my favorites from your list! I think they are a perfect match, honestly. But if I had to suggest other biblical names:

Boys:
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]-- An all time favorite for me.
[name_m]Sampson[/name_m]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_m]Judah[/name_m]/[name_u]Jude[/name_u]

Girls:
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]
[name_f]Jubilee[/name_f]-- [name_m]Both[/name_m] [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] and [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] are favorites of mine.
[name_f]Magdalene[/name_f]
Tzipporah-- A Hebrew name that means “bird” and it was [name_m]Moses[/name_m]’ wife, as you probably know. I love this name. I’d love to see someone use it!
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]

If I had to pick two from my list to go together… I’d pick [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]. But I do love [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m]. Congrats on your babes!

Oops! I posted before I read that you had made your decision. I’m glad you picked my favorites
