I never heard this name before but I’ve heard of [name]Freya[/name] which I really like

Thanks! hmm I think the “a” ending is poss the way to go. Really don’t want it mispn fraid…! Although [name]Freyde[/name] looks pretty to me. Am I right in thinking that [name]Frayda[/name] is the original Yiddish spelling?? Thanks

I think you’re right that [name]Frayda[/name] is the original spelling. It’s also probably the easiest to pronounce, so that’s why I voted for it. Personally, though, I think that [name]Freyda[/name] looks slightly prettier. :slight_smile:

I voted for the [name]Freyda[/name] spelling - it looks softer and more feminine. [name]Shana[/name] has enough “a”'s so if I were you, I would choose [name]Freyda[/name]. Also, [name]Frayda[/name]/[name]Frayde[/name] remind me of the word “afraid”. All the best!
