[name\_f]My[/name\_f] great grandmother was [name\_f]Faye[/name\_f] & I love it but SO not so much. Honestly I usually prefer unisex names. Is Fraye a usable alternative? Other suggestions welcome!

I think Fraye is cute! It feels pretty usable to me, I wouldn’t question it if I met someone with the name

[name\_f]Fey[/name\_f] feels pretty neutral to me, even though it’s listed as feminine on here. What about [name\_u]Finn[/name\_u] or [name\_u]Fen[/name\_u]?
[name\_f]Faye[/name\_f] means fairy, so what about a name with a similar mystical meaning/feel, like [name\_f]Navi[/name\_f] or [name\_f]Estelle[/name\_f]?

[name\_m]Frey[/name\_m], spelled this way, is actually a boy name. Fray is also a word meaning “to show the effects of strain”, which is not a great association. You might like the name [name\_f]Faith[/name\_f], which is actually my name and I go by Faye. Another idea is using a name that means “fairy”, which is the meaning of [name\_f]Faye[/name\_f]. [name\_f]Parisa[/name\_f] and [name\_f]Alara[/name\_f] are some examples.

I like Fraye. Too bad they don’t like [name\_f]Faye[/name\_f], because it is indeed a very pretty name. 😢
I agree with spelling it [name\_m]Frey[/name\_m], though Fraye is definitely usable. [name\_u]Ray[/name\_u] is a similar unisex option, and [name\_u]June[/name\_u] and [name\_u]Wren[/name\_u] give off really similar vibes.
