French and Portuguese family

We live in [name_f]Arizona[/name_f].I am Portuguese and baby’s daddy is [name_u]French[/name_u]. We would love a first name that goes well with [name_u]Maria[/name_u] (my mothers name). We thought of [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u], but I guess we are looking into something more [name_u]French[/name_u] as a first name. Any ideas?

Elodie [name_u]Maria[/name_u]?

Well luckily I feel like most [name_u]French[/name_u] names don’t end in ‘a’!

Adeline [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Apolline[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Aveline[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]

Amelie [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Maria[/name_u]

Ines maybe? Ines (or maybe Inez) is used in both French and Portuguese (although, very different accents!), so Ines Maria seems like a great option to me! Behind the Name also lists these as both French and Portuguese, so they might make a great crossover:

Alexandra Maria
Alice Maria (again, pretty different pronunciations, but super pretty in both languages!)
Aline Maria
Andrea Maria
Cassandra Maria
Clara Maria
Cloe Maria (Chloe Maria would be nice, too, and is more familiar in the states)
Clotilde Maria
Dalila Maria
Delia Maria
Esther Maria/Ester Maria
Isabel(le) Maria
Lara Maria
Natacha Maria (both the French AND Portuguese variant of Natasha, which I find rather fascinating!)
Salome Maria
Sara Maria
Simone Maria
Soraya Maria
Tatiana Maria
Vanessa Maria

I think some more international names would work really well with Maria and for both French and Portuguese families:

Nina Maria
Cecilia Maria (I am such a sucker for Cecilia in a Brazilian accent; she’s so utterly lovely!)
Zoe Maria
Anna Maria
Tessa Maria
Valentina Maria
Fleur/Flora Maria
Olivia Maria
Anouk Maria
Elena Maria
Iris Maria
Kaia Maria

I think of Emilia as more Italian than Portuguese (Amália feels more Portuguese than Emilia to me?), so I think Emilia’s gorgeous. If you want something more strictly French, I think these would be super pretty with Maria as a middle:

Adele Maria (already mentioned, but I think it bears repeating–Adele is so, so pretty!)
Esme Maria
Coralie Maria
Emmeline Maria/Emeline Maria
Sophie Maria
Juliet(te) Maria
Beatrice Maria
Vivienne Maria (maybe Vivian would work a bit better in both French and Portuguese? I can imagine Vivienne (at least in my beloved Brazil!) would not be pronounced the same as it is here)
Arielle/Ariela Maria
Ariane Maria
Odette Maria
Liliane Maria
Lucie Maria
Fleur Maria
Natalie Maria

Good luck!
