French names that begin with 'Ad'

What are some [name_m]French[/name_m] names that begin with ‘[name_m]Ad[/name_m]’?

This is very hard for boy names! I could only come up with a few:

[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_m]Adolphus[/name_m]
Adenet
[name_m]Adelard[/name_m]

Maybe this was helpful?

[name_u]Adrien[/name_u]/[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
Advent
[name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_m]Adolphe[/name_m]

[name_u]Adrien[/name_u] is a good idea. I’ve also found these:

[name_f]Adelin[/name_f]
Adelain
[name_m]Ad[/name_m]élix
[name_m]Ad[/name_m]émar
Adame
Addel (although I would imagine this would sound too close to [name_f]Adele[/name_f] to want to use?)
[name_m]Adelbert[/name_m]
Adiel
[name_f]Adile[/name_f]/Adille

Maybe [name_m]Adriel[/name_m]? It could easily work in [name_m]French[/name_m], but I don’t know if it’s actually considered a [name_m]French[/name_m] name. I know a little [name_m]Adriel[/name_m], and he’s Puerto Rican, so I don’t think of it as a [name_m]French[/name_m] name? But it certainly could be. I would imagine that it wouldn’t be said in [name_m]French[/name_m] anywhere near what the American pronunciation is (or the one I’ve heard, which is AY-dree-uhl). I would imagine the [name_m]French[/name_m] one would be more like ah-dree-elle in comparison.

Honestly, though, with the exception of maybe [name_f]Adelin[/name_f] (which could easily be confused with [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]/[name_f]Adalyn[/name_f] these days, even though I love it), [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] seems like the best (and possibly only) good [name_m]French[/name_m] option for an [name_m]Ad[/name_m]- name, to me.

Good luck!

[name_u]Adair[/name_u]
[name_m]Adolphe[/name_m]
[name_u]Adrien[/name_u]
