I posted a couple days ago in search of girl names that would honor my grandmother, [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] and my sister has already called [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. I received the suggestions of [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and I am really loving them. However, I am curious as to what others think about [name_f]Freya[/name_f] & [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].
I love “vintage names with some modern charm,” but I’m afraid [name_f]Freya[/name_f] may be too “out there.”
For [name_f]Freya[/name_f], I’m loving the combination of [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. Not sold on a combination for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], however.
Personally I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] it’s one of the few vintage names that I think are super youthful and are making a comeback.
I think freya is awesome too! [name_m]Way[/name_m] more kick a** feeling to me. While [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] seems sweeter. I don’t think you could go wrong with either one or even using both!
I don’t think you have to worry about [name_f]Freya[/name_f] being too “out there” it’s not very popular and the name doesn’t have a weird pronunciation! Both names are beautiful too and high on the charts that it’s not uncommon I recommend looking at those to soothe your easy!
I know a lot of [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] babies so I would have to pick [name_f]Freya[/name_f]! But I like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] better as a honor name which is the main importance! Names I made for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] are:
I think [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] are gorgeous together. I especially love [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and don’t think it’s too out there at all (although I’m in Australia where it’s pretty popular). [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is lovely… how about:
They sound great together, and I don’t think [name_f]Freya[/name_f] is too out there! Not sure where you live but I thought I read it was up there in the UK. And [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is the sweetest! I have [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] on my list!
Freya doesn’t feel out there to me amd I love [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]! [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] or [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Freya[/name_f] sprung to mind
I think [name_f]Freya[/name_f] & [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] go wonderfully together. They’re lively and elegant. They’re different from each other while still being complementary.
I like both [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] to honor [name_f]Freida[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is lovely too.
I love [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and agree with everyone else that it’s not too ‘out there’ and has the positives of a relatively clear pronunciation.
Eloise is also lovely. I like the suggestions of [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
Eloise has that vintage vibe about it and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] suggests earthy goddess too me. So they are both distinct from one another. Having said that I do think that they actually sound good together.
I quite like [name_f]Frances[/name_f] or [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] paired with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]? But I guess the question would be whether you pick a name which stylistically goes with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] or pick a name which honours your grandmother ?
I think both names are beautiful! [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is gorgeous, as is [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and all the [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] combos
