[name_m]How[/name_m] do you all think about the [name_f]Freya[/name_f] Inés combination? We could also use the Inez spelling. Last name is V@lencia.
For clarification, Inez/Inés would be with the Spanish pronunciation- which in English would sounds like E-nez and not eye-nez
We both like [name_f]Freya[/name_f] quite a bit. Inés is a nod to my grandmother, whose name was [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. Open to ideas for other middle name suggestions.
Any feedback on some of our other combos is also appreciated.
[name_f]Carla[/name_f] Inés- [name_f]Carla[/name_f] is both a play on DH’s name as well as another grandmother’s name- so it’s got double significance
[name_f]Sanna[/name_f] Inés - I love the name [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], and we found this Scandinavian form of the name to be very beautiful.
[name_f]Johanna[/name_f] or [name_f]Joanna[/name_f]- I’ve always loved this name
[name_f]Greta[/name_f] - we both like it but are unsure about middle name ideas
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] - again we both love it but have no middle ideas
I love [name_f]Freya[/name_f] Inés! [name_f]Edith[/name_f] (I prefer the diminutive [name_f]Edie[/name_f]), [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] Inés and [name_f]Greta[/name_f] are lovely too.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] Inès is delightful- i really like it -familiar yet distinctive and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] adds an unexpected twist
[name_f]Carla[/name_f] is so unheard of now but it reminds me of familiar [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Cara[/name_f]!! It’s nice.
[name_f]Sanna[/name_f] Inés - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] -such a great sound. [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f] is very pretty though [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Sanna[/name_f] Carlanne would be cute too
[name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is nice but it doesn’t sparkle quite like your others
[name_f]Greta[/name_f] - short, sharp and sweet! [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Clarice[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f] Angelie, [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] came to mind
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] is one of my faves -though but sweet. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Nancy[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Carla[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Cara[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Carina[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] came to mind
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f] is gorgeous !
[name_f]Sanna[/name_f] is a beautiful name too, and works well with [name_f]Ines[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Johanna[/name_f]. Not so keen on the other name options
@greyblue - Thanks! One of my grandmothers’ names was actually [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and DH is [name_m]Carlos[/name_m] so we thought [name_f]Carla[/name_f] might be nice to use.
You wrote [name_f]Greta[/name_f] Angelie… but actually my great-grandmother was [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] so I am going to add [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] to my list.
