Lately, I’m obsessed with the idea of simple [name_f]Anne[/name_f] with a lacy, frilly, girly mn to spice [name_f]Anne[/name_f] up. I love it!
So far, my biggest contender has been [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Camellia[/name_f], which I like a whole lot, but probably could never bring myself to use, since the only [name_f]Camellia[/name_f] I’ve known is not someone I would really want associated with my daughter’s name. Unfortunately, I can’t separate the two. I’ve thought about [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Camilla[/name_f], which is also pretty, but it doesn’t seem to wow as much. I’m also toying around with [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], but it doesn’t seem quite right, either.
Anyway, any ideas for a frilly, girly, lacy mn for [name_f]Anne[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Camellia[/name_f], so [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Camellia[/name_f] is sounds absolutely perfect to me. If you wouldn’t want to use it though, you could try:
First thoughts (note: may not exactly fulfill the definition of overly frilly or girly, but these are what seemed to fit the bill in my mind lol)
Keeping with the C-theme/feel:
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]
or…switching up [name_f]Anne[/name_f] to [name_f]Anna[/name_f]…[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f]?
Others:
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Juliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] (hehehe…[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is one of my favorites so I can’t help but promote it )
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Bethany[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
Sorry if any of these aren’t what you were looking for! Good luck It’s nice to see [name_f]Anne[/name_f] getting some love!
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] was my favorite as a child I like the suggestions of [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] best.
Thanks, Berries! (Sorry, it took me a bit to get back to this thread!)
So far, I really like:
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] (I think this is gorgeous, and just the right balance between spunky, frilly, and exotic, but another [name_u]Berry[/name_u] actually HAS an [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Marcella[/name_f], so I’d feel super awkward using it.)
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] Rosabella
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Mirella[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] Teresina (I am intrigued by this, more because of my familiarity with the Brazilian city than as a name, but I really have no ties to Teresina, [name_u]Brazil[/name_u], so, at this point, it seems sort of odd to use. I’m looking at sponsoring a child–hopefully in [name_u]Brazil[/name_u]–through this organization I’ve used for years to sponsor two other little girls–Compassion International–so if I sponsor a little one in or around Teresina, I might look at Teresina more closely, but, for now, I sort of think it’s out. [name_f]Anne[/name_f] Teresina is certainly intriguing, though!)
Any other ideas for a frilly middle name for [name_f]Anne[/name_f]?
