I know fruit names might be strange for some but I actually like [name_f]Apple[/name_f]. Is that weird? Believe it or not, it honors family of mine for many and many generations back. It has huge significance for me to be able to honor something and so many people that are so important in my family. I’m just not sure if there’s a more formal name with a possibility with [name_f]Apple[/name_f] as a nickname or if I should just use [name_f]Apple[/name_f]? I have other family names that I would use for middles otherwise I would use [name_f]Apple[/name_f] as a middle. I realized I kind of like fruit, nature, place, flower, and word names and am looking for more to add to my list.

I think [name_f]Apple[/name_f] would be a lovely nickname for [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] since it means ‘apple tree’. My only concern with [name_f]Apple[/name_f] is professionalism when looking for a job someday.
I actually really like [name_f]Apple[/name_f], always have (long before [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] Paltrow used it). When I was younger and played The Sims, I named the little girl in my [name_m]Sim[/name_m] family [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Apple[/name_f]. I couldn’t convince my husband to use it as a middle name in real life, though.
