[name]Ive[/name] been using Nameberry for about a year now.
It seems just recently there have been new pop-up ads that cover the whole screen all the time whenever Im on the forum. It’s not just once, they keep popping up! it’s becoming frustrating.
Im using an ipad, not sure if it’s different on other devices.
Could you use adblock?
I haven’t had this problem at all; I’m on a PC, though. Could you have some sort of bug/virus? Also, have you cleared your cookies recently? (I don’t have any idea how iPad’s work, really, so I don’t know if that’s relevant.)
You aren’t alone; they pop up on my phone all the time, and adblock doesn’t help at all!
My computer does this all the time but not just on nb.
I access NB with my computer and with an iPad. These ads aren’t a problem at all on the computer, but yes, I’ve run into the same problem on the iPad.
I wouldn’t mind if it popped up only upon entering the site, or every 50 pages, but it seems to be unpredictable. Occasionally, I’ve had it pop up repeeatedly (3 or 4 times) when I try to navigate to a certain page. Also, sometimes it seems to leave ‘residue’ covering parts of a page…

I will look into adblock (even though for some it doesnt seem to help).
And yes, maybe my ipad does have some problem bc it seems to crash alot lately.
But it does only seem to be on NB these particular ads.

Same here, on the ipad. Ads for Country [name]Crock[/name] and Downy. It’s driving me CRAZY!!! I don’t mind the site using ads to make money at all, I just can’t stand the pop-up nature of these ads. I’ll get halfway down the page browsing thread titles, then that ad will pop up and scroll me back up to the top. It happens several times each time I visit the forums. I hate it!
Same. The ads on my phone the last week or so have been driving me insane…I never want to see a tub of Country [name]Crock[/name] again.
I get them on my iPad constantly… Very frustrating! 
They are my new insert sarcastic eye roll here friend. That d*mn country crock cassarole was going to be the death of me. I get lovely [name]Pandora[/name] bracelet or downy ads now. sigh I don’t mind ads to make money… have to pay for the things somehow… but it is SO random as to when they pop up. It’s really annoying. I’m practically attached to my iPad, especially with the wedding planning, so I use NB almost exclusively on my iPad. The random ads only happen on the iPad.
Same here, on iPad. Honestly, this will keep me from coming back very often.
