Looking around a lot of the sites that reference [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] meaning fugitive say that it means fugitive or shelter and there is a similar [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] word ‘schuiler’ that means shelter or hide, but it’s pronounced more like schow-ler.
So kind of, but mostly no.
