I like [name_m]Rueben[/name_m], but feel any R name would potentially work

[name_f]My[/name_f] son is called [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] and we call him Roo, so basically the same as [name_u]Rue[/name_u]. I think any name beginning with R works as it can be seen as a pet name.

[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] is my favorite.

[name_f]My[/name_f] son is [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] and often goes by Reu (we just stuck with that spelling so as not to confuse him when he was learning to write his name). I also know a little [name_u]Rory[/name_u] whose parents call him Roo (his mom really wanted to use a Gaelic spelling, which lend themselves naturally to Ru). It’s a really sweet nickname, whatever full/given name you choose. It feels like it fits a little kid, though I imagine my Reu will outgrow it in a few short years.

I like [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] nn [name_u]Rue[/name_u], so maybe [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] would work for [name_u]Rue[/name_u]!
