Full name for Lady

Here’s the deal: I love the nickname [name_f]Lady[/name_f], but not the name [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]. I’ve listed some names that are similar, but a bit of a reach. [name_f]Do[/name_f] any of these work? Any better ideas?

Adelyn
[name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelind[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Danica[/name_f]

Lander?

From your list, I can see [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] and [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] working best. But I also think [name_f]Lady[/name_f] is the type of nickname that you can use with any full name, without needing a specific connection! If you do want to see the link between the names, though, there’s also:

Helena (with the ha-LAY-na pronounciation)
[name_f]Lainey[/name_f]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Alaina[/name_f]
[name_f]Malena[/name_f] (ma-LAY-na)
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
[name_f]Adalia[/name_f] (ah-DAY-lya)

Or you could go for an “L” first with a “D” middle!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I think that [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] & [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] all make perfect sense. I’ve always thought that [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] nn [name_m]Lad[/name_m] was really cute. So, I wonder if [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lady[/name_f] maybe works?

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

Magdalena nn [name_f]Lady[/name_f] is stunning.

Violaine, [name_f]Adelaine[/name_f], [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]?

Only one I could see working with [name_f]Lady[/name_f] as a nickname is [name_f]Adelind[/name_f].
You could just nickname her [name_f]Lady[/name_f] regardless of the name…

I agree with this but if you do want a link, what about [name_f]Lavada[/name_f]?

Lydia
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]

Layla [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_u]Laine[/name_u] [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Delphina[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] works! [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] or [name_f]Leah[/name_f] could work too, but as you said, it’s might be a bit of a reach. [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] might be able to work as well. Other names [name_f]Lady[/name_f] could be short for:
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f]
[name_f]Leigha[/name_f]
[name_f]Lana[/name_f] or [name_f]Luana[/name_f]
Landrey
[name_u]Laurie[/name_u]

It could also be short for a ‘[name_m]Lay[/name_m]…’ first name and a D middle:

Layla [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_u]Laine[/name_u] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_u]Dale[/name_u]
[name_m]Layton[/name_m] [name_f]Danica[/name_f]

Or [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]?

when I think of [name_f]Lady[/name_f] as nickname I think these names:
[name_f]Gladys[/name_f] - it has straight lady right there, but too much dated
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Nerys[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]

I’m afraid I don’t see [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lady[/name_f]… or [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]

I thought of Aleydis.
