I love Ness and think that it would make an awesome full name (similar to [name_f]Nell[/name_f]), however, from the other choice, [name_f]Nessa[/name_f] is my favourite, [name_f]Anessa[/name_f] & Annessa will be mistaken for Vaness 95% of the time, I fear, and having to always correct people will get boring very quickly, especially if the person tends to go by Ness anyway (still, full names are necessary for many things, on paper, anyway).

I really like Anessa.

There’s also Ines (pronounced ee-NESS in French and Spanish) and Inessa.

Maybe [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] would work too?

[name_f]Agnessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Alanis[/name_f]

[name_f]Anise[/name_f]/[name_f]Anisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Chesney[/name_f]

[name_f]Florence[/name_f]/Florecencia/[name_f]Floressa[/name_f]
[name_u]Genesis[/name_u]
[name_f]Janessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]

You could also do a FN/MN combo that forms [name_f]Nessa[/name_f]/[name_f]Nessie[/name_f]. For example: [name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Nina[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Serena[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], etc.

there was a cute little girl at my daughter’s preschool named Saranessa. Pretty sure it’s a made up name, but I liked it and they called her “[name_f]Nessa[/name_f]”

A bit out of left field, but the first thing I thought of was Nessarose (as in the character from Wicked). I always thought it was a very unique, pretty name. Aside from that, [name_f]Nessa[/name_f] is lovely and I also like [name_f]Agnes[/name_f].

I love the idea of [name_f]Ines[/name_f] nn Ness or [name_f]Nessie[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Nessa[/name_f] or [name_f]Agnes[/name_f].

The first name that popped in my head was [name_f]Janessa[/name_f]!

Have you considered [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f]? It’s from [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] and Greek mythology, and means “sea nymph.” I think [name_f]Nessie[/name_f] would be a perfect nickname for a [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f]!

If you use annessa then you might actually get people pronouncing it line [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-nessa or [name_f]Anne[/name_f]- essa. While anessa will likely be pronounced more like uh-nessa, like [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] without the v. Something to consider and keep in mind depending on which you prefer.

I think maybe [name_f]Ines[/name_f] could work too is the spanish version of agnes (my name)

I like [name_f]Vinessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f].
